Then one day they were out of the office. Nothing was ever mentioned, and a New dentist was there. I stayed because of the Hygienist, Angie, who was wonderful. I was shuffled to different dentists and I noticed a whole new vibe in the office. Then one day I had a toothache, in my experience when someone has a toothache you get them in ASAP. I called the office on Wednesday. They gave me an appointment on Friday even when I told them I was in discomfort. Friday arrives and I get a phone call that the dentist said she didn't have enough time for me on that day and she would see me the following Wednesday when she could devote more time. I was in shock. She could've brought me in taking an x-ray and giving me a prescription. But I was being shuffled again, a person with an infection in pain. I decided I would never go back and plus I found out my Hygienist left also along with other office staff and personnel. The quality of care has totally gone downhill. You don't want an office that's corporate. It becomes all about the dollars not you. I have found a wonderful office in Freehold with a husband and wife who own their practice and care about their patients. The way it should be. Beware of this office.

This practice has changed ownership three times in the last 5 years, with each owner less and less involved in dentistry. The staff has been there for many years and that is why I remain a patient. The current management company, aside from curtailing some services, imposed a 3% charge to use a credit card, which is totally ridiculous and unprofessional.

I was traveling and paid a dentist to put it back in. It lasted 18 months but came out again. I went back to Wemrock to have it cemented again. My disappointment (in addition to having it come off twice), was being charged to put it back in. I have 4 crowns, one for over 30 years that have never come out. It seems to me that a dentist should warranty their work, at least to some extent. The fact that this one has come off twice would indicate that something wasn't right with the crown. Why should I keep paying to make it right?

So I tend to be nervous and edgy when in the chair. I was in a bind. My dentist went AWOL in the middle of a root canal. Well, he gave up on the root canal and was going to extract it, then went AWOL. I needed help and I didn't have time to interview doctors. I was basically at the mercy of the recommendation of my insurance company. Not a great situation. So I picked Dr. Eisenberg because he was in network and could see me right away. I figured I'd get this tooth fixed and then start looking around for a new dentist the right way. Well, there was no need. He did a great job! I got right in, he took a look, and got me back on track with the whole root canal debacle. He was able to save to tooth and completed the root canal, saving me a fortune on an implant and a lot of unnecessary pain. I also got a cleaning after the whole process so I'm good for a while. Dr. Eisenberg does discuss payment with you. Most every other dentist I've seen has a clerk or something deal with insurance issues so don't be turned off if he talks insurance with you before doing any work. These conversations make me a bit uneasy, BUT I'd rather have the insurance conversation before any work is done because after the work is done you're stuck. I can say this about Dr. Eisenberg: he is friendly and personable, he made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and the work he did for me is excellent. If you're looking for a dentist, Dr. Eisenberg is an excellent choice. Friendly and personable, he'll take good care of you. He certainly took good care of me.

He worked so very hard to save a molar and so he did. I appreciate that so much and it was painless and he did it with a smile even though he worked so hard. I go to the Ocean office and would spread the word that this is the dentist and the office you should go to. Pat D.

This was literally the best medical / dental experience I've ever had. I had what was described by…read moremy regular dentist as a difficult tooth to pull (curved root, etc). Because of this, he referred me to oral surgeon, Dr Brian Krost, of Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for it. I went to the Freehold office. I was anticipating the worst - lengthy procedure, potential pain, etc. I wanted lidocaine injections only, and I experienced no pain, with the tooth pull itself taking less than 5 minutes (again, despite it being a more difficult pull). Dr Krost's skill and demeanor (including putting me at ease, communicating and addressing my concerns) were exceptional. The staff -- from the dental professional who assisted Dr Krost to those at the front desk - were equally exceptional with their skills, support, communication, etc. I have a reflexive anxiety reaction to even the simplest medical procedures where I come close to passing out (eg I have to lay down whenever I have a blood test or even when getting a simple shot). I had the same reaction after the simple lidocaine injections (again, the act of getting a simple shot induces my reaction). I communicated to the dental professional that I was feeling dizzy and nauseous & she saw the color go out of my face. She put my head back to resolve it and gave me non judgmental assurance and support. Dr Brian Krost was equally patient and supportive in response to this. I then had the same reaction after the tooth pull was over. The dental professional again had the same patience and support, putting my head back and staying with me & not rushing me in any way. The staff at the front desk were equally supportive and helpful. I received a follow up call from the dental professional who had helped me. It was an amazing experience. If I have to get even a 'simple' tooth extraction done, I'm going here and will ask for Dr Brian Krost.
