There is a main hotel building and located separately villas - apart hotel. They offer apartment garden suits and apartment terrace suits. Those are with fully-equipped kitchen, dining room united with living room, large terrace or private garden and bathroom.
There were not enough of towels for us, because you're supposed to use the bathroom towels at the pool area as well. And the mattress is very hard and firm, far from the Four Seasons standards, actually there are two mattresses compounded into one, so there is some slot in between which is typical European hotels issue. The TV is pretty small and old. But we almost never used it though.
Hotel is good for family holidays; they offer family rooms as well.
Rooms overlook the pool, or golf course or endless fields and multiple layers of beautiful mountains.
There are two swimming pools: one next to main building where the lobby is and another one at the apart hotel area. They both are the same size.
Breakfast is in the main building at the restaurant. It's a buffet and has all breakfast needs and necessities, including some local delicacies. But don't expect smoked salmon, Champagne or Cava.
Wi-Fi in the apartments hardly works. The signal is in the local lobby there and if you're staying further, there is no chance that you can get a connection. May be they repaired it already.
A lot of people come there to play golf; the golf course is in the walking distance, right across the street.
Among golf lovers, the place is popular with amateurs of other sports, especially of biking: very convenient multiple and endless routs that you can lose the track of time on your ride. Or try hiking in the mountains, various paths for that.
Gym and SPA are there at the club that is open to the local public. There is a restaurant too very suitable for a coffee or lunch. You have to pay extra if using a gym. They have classes, like Body Pump and Cycling. Their cycling classes are amazing, with the video monitors, showing different virtual places where you ride, like across Grand Canyon, or Seattle park, very nice. In the gym they have all the cardios, machines, weights, all. Even personal trainers. There is an indoor pool too, pretty big for a swim and they have aqua classes too. There is sauna for sure, steam (if I remember right about steam) and hot tub.
You can book massage at their SPA at the same building. The prices are not sky high as in some hotels and the quality id very high, I liked it a lot. Of course it depends on a therapist that you have, but most are very professional. There is a saloon also: hair, nails.
In the neighborhood there are a lot of really good restaurants, including Michelin Starred. City of Figueras just few minutes' drive away and Dali museum if you want some cultural program. Or such pearls of Calatolonia as Girona, Besalu, Olot etc are close too. And it's less than an hour driving till the seaside. And less than two from Barcelona.
The stuff is very pleasant, agreeable, if I can say so, loyal and kind. They are all local, know greatly the neighborhood and surroundings and can suggest activities, restaurants and places to your interests.
They have special offers for the reservation and discounts. Parking is free.
We were staying there few years in a raw and it was always a great time. It's the best hotel in the neighborhood. read more
