Based on the reviews here I was sure that this travel agency would be able to help us. We had a…read morepretty basic travel requirement, and sent very clear bulleted emails to them. Instead, it took several days to hear back and when we did: 1) they used some weird online service that asked for a login to even see the proposed itineraries 2) they had extremely long layovers and actually missed a city we were planning to visit for a few days In my mind, the whole point of hiring an agent is to make things easier and save you hassle. This has been the opposite.

5-Star Review for Flynn Travel (and especially Janice!)…read more We recently booked a trip to Aruba through Flynn Travel, and working with Janice was nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning she handled our flights and accommodations at the Tamarijn with such care and attention to detail that the whole planning process felt effortless. While we were away, a massive snowstorm hit the Northeast and completely disrupted our return travel plans. Janice was amazing. She monitored the storm, rebooked our flights home, communicated with us clearly through every change, and even helped us extend our stay at the resort so we weren't stressed or stranded. The level of support she provided made a chaotic situation feel manageable. She also assisted us with all the documentation we needed to file a travel insurance claim for the extended stay. Having her expertise to guide us through that process was a huge relief. The trip itself was wonderful, but Janice's dedication, responsiveness, and genuine care for her clients is what truly sets Flynn Travel apart. We felt completely supported from start to finish. I can't recommend Janice -- and Flynn Travel -- highly enough. We will absolutely book with her again!

Garavanian Travel did all of the travel bookings for my June 2010 honeymoon…read more I initially had no idea where I wanted to go on my honeymoon but knew I wanted to go through a travel agency. I work in Chelmsford and had driven by Garavanian many times. Gabe was very helpful, giving me more literature than I could go through on various locations in the geographic areas I was interested in. With his help, I eventually selected the Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. He was very helpful in giving me all sorts of advice, as he had been to this specific resort several times as well as most of the other places we spoke of. He did a great job of walking me through the merits of each room/suite I was interested in and got me a great deal on a suite for our 2 week stay. He was great with the airfare as well - constantly emailing me when deals would come through via the various airlines that flew to St. Lucia. It was nice to go through a travel agent that actually had first hand knowledge of the resort where we were headed. Any question he didn't have an answer to he would call them up while I was there to get me as much information as he could. Garavanian Travel is a Sandals preferred vendor so they do get some nice pricing at the resorts. I also told Gabe of a few requests we had while we were at the resort (including my husbands birthday) that were taken care of while we were there. It was obvious that he did a great job of communicating with the resort. I'm not sure how they do with non-Sandals related travel but in this situation Garavanian really did a great job for us. Any trip we take in the future whether it be a Sandals trip or not, I am first going to check in at Garavanian.

I highly recommend Harry and Garavanian Travel.

If you found Gloria by chance, it is most likely NOT by chance…read more She will take the absolute best care of you. I started searching for a travel agent last November, and will be traveling October 8th of this year. When I saw that Grant Travel was close by, and they had a few good reviews, I decided to give them a call and leave a message. After hearing back from her, she listened to my interests and immediately began tending to my needs. After expressing an interest in both Disney AND a cruise, she emailed me a variety of different cruises that left from the Orlando area. She informed my fiancé and I of the different cruise lines and what was unique to each one. Then, she helped us find information about the best package possible for Disney. We ended up going with a meal plan and fast passes, and she recommended going with insurance just in case of a hurricane as we would be going during hurricane peak season (which she advised against). She showed us different hotels of the Disney resorts and helped us choose one that suited us best, requesting the Port Orleans French Quarter's best hotel room for our honeymoon. She helped us get our plane tickets as well, carefully detailing how we would be transported on each part of our journey. Gloria also nudged us when it was time to start making dinner reservations as well as fast pass requests. Finally, she helped us with purchasing Universal and Adventure Island passes along with the best seats for the Blue Man group. When it came to booking our cruise, she was careful to detail the prices of each suite / room option, even making recommendations as to what part of the cruise to stay in to prevent noise and seasickness. Sound like a lot? It should. It was a lot to take care of! Disney package. Food. Lodging. Plane tickets. Cruise planning. Transportation. No worries for me. In our last visit, snuggled once more in Panera Bread, we got to go over everything. Every email she had ever sent me with tickets or specifics to my travels was printed and ORGANIZED nice and neat for me in a folder along with our printed luggage tags. She was there to answer questions for me and give me last minute pointers too. Don't overthink it. Grant Travel is your only necessity for your vacation.
