UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL.
PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS AND MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGMENT.
I made a $500 deposit to hold a Hyundai Sonata 2017 with a 34K+ mileage financed for 7yrs at $420/mo. When I shared this to my friend, he advised me not to get the car as this rate is too much for a used car; so I went back to the car dealer the very next day to be reimbursed, but they wouldn't give me my money back, and Sara, the sales rep/financial manager told me I should come again the next day as Neil, the owner was the one in charge of the reimbursements and he was away. So I went back again the very next day, and the owner right off the bat was very rude, asking me why I changed my mind when I was so very willing to get the car, that he will not reimburse me my own money because we had a verbal agreement with 4 witnesses that I was buying the car, as though a verbal agreement alone puts me in a binding contract to purchase this car. At this point I was just so overwhelmed with all the nonsense he was spewing out of his mouth and was still trying to get the conversation focused on my reimbursement when he just walked out on me and had one of his employees, Matthew, repeat the nonsense the owner was saying earlier. In the end I didn't get reimbursed, but inquired and reported the incident to my bank, which told me that their claim on the money can be disputed as I didn't sign any contract with them. Thankfully I didn't sign any papers with these scammers or I would have been stuck with a used, overpriced car. PLEASE BE WARNED, AND AVOID UNNECESSARY HEADACHE WITH THESE HUSTLERS.
They took advantage of my inexperience, and my relationship with my friend who trusted them. This was an expensive lesson to learn, but a lesson that has to be learned. At least this has made me more careful in purchasing a car. There are also very good people who make it their business to give you a fair deal, we just have to be discerning with who these people are.
Please make it your duty to report any bad experiences with any car dealers so the public can be warned. We have to look after each other to avoid making big mistakes. I thank the Lord he got me out of this one. Praise Him. read more
