I asked for new railing, caulk holes and paint my siding Day 1: they took 1st payment and got started. David asked could he borrow an extension cord. He ran it from the inside my home... no problem on this day The next day David let co-worker do the job alone. He brought two young girls with him. He fussed at them for cutting the wood wrong. Those girls also urinated in a bucket and poured it out in my NEW pinestraw and covered the tissue the straw as well. Also on this day. I told the guy that the porch/ railings were not straight. He got an attitude and left the property Day 3: David attempted to rescue and correct all mistakes, but the job is just discounted looking. My home was left with huge caulk stains snd NO paint and the porch is just ok looking. Upon him working, he tripped the power twice. Everything went out/ turned back on EXCEPT my air and outlet they used. Mind you my extension cord is for minor house work only. I had no idea they would try to run 2 machines off of it. My outlets were burned out. I mentioned this to him and he immediately went into defense mode. I tried calling the office and they directed me back to David Day 4: I had to phone an electrician and a guy to come check my air conditioning unit out. David told the office so many fibs. He also told me if I get my guy, he'll have get his. I was told they weren't responsible for my air and outlets. I just want my stuff fixed. EVERYTHING WAS WORKING PRIOR TO THEM SHOWING UP THAT DAY. Additionally, they left nails, wood dust, and wood scraps everywhere! The job look very low budget. I rate this place a zero! Please don't waste your time.

From the get-go, BlueBuilt reps - Dalberto - had shown a great service quality by listening to our situation and more importantly offering us a contract with very competitive pricing. During the project, their staff were very committed to working extra hours to meet the deadline. The project leader - Christian - was very helpful on identifying the uncovered issues and explained to us what they need and how they were going to fix the issue. During the walkthrough, we identified some minor issues and Tyler - the founder of the Company - was there so we could show us these minor issues and BlueBuilt sent their staff back to fix the issue. BlueBuilt has shown us its commitment, competitive pricing, quality of work, and more importantly their customer service. I would recommend BlueBuilt to do siding and painting works and will re-hire for other home projects in the future.

I had one badly damaged and another not so badly damaged wall in my bathroom, and after my horrible…read moreattempts at repair, I realized that a professional needed to do the work. I found BJ on Yelp and gave him a call. I sent him pictures and he provided a more than reasonable quote on the same day. Lucky for me, he was able to come out the next day to do the work. On the work day, everything went as planned. BJ removed the old, cracked mud, sanded the walls, added new mud to the walls, sanded the mud, and then painted. In total, the work time was about 4 hours. I'm giving Thumbs Up Repair five stars because BJ responded quickly, showed up to do the work (a lot of people don't show up), and did a great job. I plan to have him come back to paint the inside and outside of my house as well as replace my kitchen countertops. He can do a lot of work, and I'm so glad I found him!

Let me preface that before I came into the picture, my mother in law was quite upset at the Schantz…read morecompany. Apparently she had already left a couple of not so nice messages that the work they had done had made things worse, ie: more leaks in the roof. What I eventually figured out was she had gotten things mixed up with another roofer, who did the original work on the roof. So I come in, and had an independent handyman I trust, go up and walk the roof with me. We figured out all the issues, and I called up Greg Schantz. Not only did he stop by on a Sunday to personally address the issues, he was quite polite, despite the mixup and messages from my mother in law. I personally apologized to him for my mother in law and asked if he'd walk the roof with me. He did, and spotted all the same things the other handyman and I had found, plus other issues we hadn't seen. He agreed to make repairs not only around the small area they had worked on, but also addressed all the minor issues/problems done by the original roofer free of charge. On top of that his crew spotted two areas without supports where the roof had begun to make small divots, which would later cause more leaking. All free of charge and done quickly, and professionally. So now a couple more months have passed and we're still getting minor leaks in the same area Schantz had worked on. They came back out and completely ripped out all the previous roofers work around the chimney and dug around and found a hole, no one could have found, as it was buried under layers of roofing around the chimney. This they also fixed, with a minor, and completely understandable charge, as it was outside the scope of the original work. So all in all, great experience, and I had fun just talking with him and assessing the roof. Edit: Yes this is my mother in law in Atlanta. I noted my profile still says I live in CA.

We were not let down as there was a personal touch through the entire process. We were also able to upgrade the house to architectural shingles which really improved our home value. Would definitely go with Schantz again for any home job.
