There was another Wawa I visited when I first came into town, and I cannot remember which one so this will be a combination review of all of them. I had a turkey bowl (basically Thanksgiving dinner combined) and this was really good! Partly since I didn't get a proper turkey dinner this past holiday, this made up for it since it contained everything I enjoy, and none of the stuff I don't. When I wanted hash browns, I was told they were made until 11a. The next day I came in around 9-ish and although they weren't on display, I asked a girl behind the counter and they brought one out from the back. I also tried their bacon and I have to admit this was the first fail I've had with Wawa, but the hash browns will be a repeat order. So if you don't see them, just ask. Coffee machine works, can't complain there. Also, a decent selection of Lay's chips, Tastykakes, local stuff. I like the fact that not only are plastic bags still available, there is no charge for them. Fuel is fairly priced, parking is plentiful, and I'm in and out quickly. I really miss having a Wawa around.

When…read moreyou go to get your prescription, you have to sign in on a touch screen, provide your name and birthdate. This is while there are several, I counted six people in the pharmacy. Three of which, from my own deductions, have the job of retrieving your prescription located 3 feet behind them. They don't make I contact with you until you have gone through the computer middle man, at which point they must see that you have jumped through their meta hoop. Now I made the unfortunate mistake of being in foul of this , I stood, attempting attract attention of one of the employees but they're skilled in the art of ignoring customers. Finally when they broke, a good minute I would say, I was asked what I needed. I replied I was attempting to get my prescription. This didn't sit well with her. She rudely pointed at the screen and said to me I needed to go through the touchscreen. So I did, while she picked up things and sat them back down. Perhaps the picking up and setting back down of things was her hard at work, but. It felt like a stalling tactic, I could be way off base and wrong, I'll admit that. I soon as I entered my name and birthdate, and told the screen how I didn't want any flu shots or other medical procedures, she came over and addressed me as if we have never had a previous encounter. Mind you, between picking items up and setting them down she kept a keen eye on her side of the computer screen. Then she asked if I was here to pick up a prescription for the name on the screen, which was me. I confirmed that was my intention, to pick up my prescription. She told I could wait over there, and pointed behind me. So I backed up three steps and waited. She turned around and grabbed my prescription and then read the name out loud as if I wasn't standing right in front of her. This has got to be the most ridiculous system I've seen for retrieving a dam prescription. Who comes up with this convoluted insanity. In an effort to be understanding that sometimes things can appear off after one experience, I did return to get another time today to see if maybe it was me or if it was just a bad day for the staff, but, it was the same crazy ass, unfriendly service. I will not be back and I hope they change this weird ass shit, so other folks don't have to deal with it. Seriously off putting stuff going on there. Maybe it's just me?

I waited in line for at least 20 minutes before I was helped by some Karen who told me that my insurance wouldn't accept it and I wound up waiting in the consultation window for another 20 minutes before they could help me. According to them there was a glitch in the system and eventually I was able to get my prescription approved after almost an hour of waiting. I was in dire pain but held it together even though I was ready to pass out. The customer service at the pharmacy is greatly lacking and they had 4-5 people working in the pharmacy. They seriously need to get their heads out of their asses.
