I left three voicemails before anyone called me back (they never answer the phone). When they did finally call me back, they didn't know his schedule or availability for a consultation and told me they would call me back again the following week, once they had a chance to talk to him. That was two weeks ago, and I still haven't heard back from them, so I set up an appointment with a different surgeon at a different practice. I had multiple problems with his staff during my first surgery, and I was hoping he fixed them, but apparently it's only gotten worse.

I didn't read any reviews on any of the doctors or the practice. Hindsight, I wished I requested one who's been practicing for 20+ years is my personal preference for many reasons and this visit proved my expectations. I barely sat with Dr. B when all she did was look at my skin. As far as I can recall, she didn't use any tools to look at my skin. Just her naked eye. She gave her personal recommendations without a clear diagnosis after telling her what occurred. She prescribed me topical cream which made my skin 10X worst than where it was. I have all the pictures to prove 3 days of use when my skin reacted in more flare ups. Going home and looking up these prescriptions meds is what they recommended. They called it their "base line" where they start. As we all know, never know what works with your skin. She was so sure of herself. Thanks to their patient portal, the only great thing that happened in this practice is the communication. I was prescribed another topical cream and the same effect occurred. This process has been frustrating. The practice manager called me only to grill me for not using the creams for two weeks. I guess she wasn't listening to a new patient's dissatisfaction. It seems like her main job is to support doctors not provide customer care / service. Needless to say, Dr. B called to follow up after the fact their practice manager was just as rude. We came to an agreement, it was an unfortunate situation.

The roads cut and swere very quickly off 99, so I ended up passing by the exit and turning around....and passing the road again that would take me to the favility because where I was asked to turn was an apartmenr complex. Lo ans behold the apartment complex and Kelsey Seybold literally share the same lot! Once I was parked, I entered in and scanned my qr code, which gave me a message as to what floor and area to wait for my appointment. I checked in at 2 but wasnt seen until 30 minites after checkin and my appointment was at 2:15. That wasnt a big issue to me. The waiting areas are spacious and quiet. Unlike some Kelsey locations that have only an attendant at the counter on the first floor, this location had someone on each floor for checkin which came in handy when I had to step to the restroom. I just told the front desk my name in case I was called while at the restroom. As far as the service and care from the doctor herself, I would rather save for a different review, but overall, this location is accessible and clean.

My usual location is Memorial Villages since it's close to my office and home, and when I need to go to Spring for work, I usually go to the North campus on 1960. I am glad this location is open because it offers some specialties other places don't or a second North location in Spring, but it doesn't have a pharmacy on site if you use them, which doesn't matter to me since I don't. There's plenty of open parking here. It looks like it's full at times, but there's spaces all around and a couple entrances to the lot. There's designated spots at the front for accessibility and EV parking. There's enough space that a parking garage isn't needed like the Memorial Villages location on I-10 has. For such an open space, the entrance here is quite small. It's tight when 4-5 people are walking in/out at the same time, and if someone is in a wheelchair, walker or bringing a stroller, you have to step aside or wait till they come through. Poor design. The other locations have wider entrances or a second one. I know they just opened, but the doctor's offices and restrooms look so bare like they just opened. It feels more cold. I do like the addition of water stations on each floor. That's a nice touch, which I imagine is mostly for staff, unless patients happen to be bringing a refillable water bottle. I didn't see any cups nearby. The lab is on the first floor to the left of the receptionist area. Check in with the receptionist, and someone will call you. The phlebotomist was nice and good. I didn't get multiple sticks. It was so quiet that morning that I could hear my blood being drawn at one point. If that bothers you, hum or something, so you don't faint if you're sensitive. I've seen blood working in the hospitals, so it doesn't phase me. I watch. The infusion center is on the second floor with Heme/Onc. You have to take the elevators to the left when facing the reception area or stairs on the first floor to get there. The elevators to the right of the reception area will take you to the other floors like endocrinology on the fourth floor. Check in is easy with the QR codes to scan. For the infusion center, there's a check in desk where you get your MRN wristband that has a tiny QR for the nurse to scan when issuing meds. I had to ask for mine to be tighter on my wrist or else I would lose it when walking. There are 15 infusion "rooms" (main opening is a curtain that stretches across). The nurse's station is large and open in the center of all the rooms. Each room has a TV, outlets with USB and regular, pillow, a reclining chair with a small table attached and a small padded bench for one visitor. They allowed my parents during the medication review, but only one could stay throughout the actual treatment and could switch off if needed. I liked the window for natural light and blinds if I want to make the room darker. I turned off all the lights and slept through most of it since the Benadryl made me drowsy. My nurse, Jessica, and actually all the nurses who came in were so kind. One of them brought me a pillow cover. I didn't have one the majority of the infusion until the end observation period when my line kept getting occluded. They have warm blankets and snacks there. I read Reddit reviews, so I came prepared and brought my own blanket, small pillow and a lunch bag with snacks and drinks. I even have a jacket meant for infusions so that I could keep my jacket on with just my arm visible for the IV. I was free to go after an hour observation. Thankful for no reactions except some grogginess. My BP was not rechecked, which my mom, who's a nurse, thought was odd. Maybe next time I'll ask since I have to repeat this next week. I like this location as an alternative close to one of my work sites and family, but Memorial Villages is still my preference. I wish that location had an infusion center.
