So, at 23, I started getting Botox treatments (or another botulism based injectable) in my forehead to treat the static lines I was already seeing. Not long after that, I started going to Dr. Lyos (at his location in the Woodlands) for these treatments. As the years passed, and my areas of concern changed, I'd ask Dr. Lyos for his opinion on addressing these new areas. If you haven't met him yet, you need to understand a little about Dr. Lyos. He's professional, reserved, and he won't recommend or support any treatment that won't give you the results you're hoping for. (And, more importantly, he'll politely inform you if your expectations are in need of a reset.) Moreover, he's not a plastic surgeon who's keen on completely overhauling the way you look--so, if you're going in hoping to **subtly** enhance your lips, or get rid of your wrinkles, you won't have to worry about coming out looking like Kylie Jenner, or like someone's pulling your whole scalp back. When I first came to this doctor, he told me my condition that I had a severely deviated septum. He then told me I needed a nasal endoscopy and a CT scan done. Afterwards, he prescribed me medications and nasal rinse that I can only get at the Gloyer's pharmacy at which he assigned only. One day, Ben Cilento did not show up to check up on me, so another Doctor took his place and came to check up on me instead. I explained my situation to the other doctor of how I am currently feeling and how I did not feel any different in my symptoms from taking the medication. This doctor then prescribed me a different medication. After a few weeks later, I find out that I was not supposed to take these medications. Dr. Ben Cilento said the other doctor did not know what he was doing. I was shocked because I put my full trust and time in the doctor only to find out that he wasted my time from all the appointments that kept on RESCHEDULING and the money that I wasted when nothing was done correctly. This shows the lack of professionalism, lack of responsibility, and lack of caring in the patient's health. I am very very DISAPPOINTED. Even when I try to have a talk with Doctor Cilento, I noticed that he keeps on rushing out or leaving the room. I barely had time to even ask him any questions or understand what process was going to happen next. I paid so much money to this doctor and to the pharmacy. This practice likes to charge everything à la carte. Like there is a fee for everything. And they want the fees paid upfront. They will charge you a fee just to talk to your insurance company. If they are having trouble with their computer and cannot connect with your insurance provider, they will ask you to pay the full amount upfront before they will even let you see the doctor. They will ask you to pay for everything even a check-in. If you get a prescription, it is like they want you to pay a fee to send the prescription. Nothing is included with your regular office visit. They will refuse to do any work until they first get paid. They do not like to bill you. They like you to pay upfront and then refund the money if insurance ends up covering things (actually they'll hold onto the money and treat it like a credit for your next visit.) overall this makes them a more expensive practice to work with. Other than their nickel and dime office, policies and procedures. It is a great practice.
