So, at 23, I started getting Botox treatments (or another botulism based injectable) in my forehead to treat the static lines I was already seeing. Not long after that, I started going to Dr. Lyos (at his location in the Woodlands) for these treatments. As the years passed, and my areas of concern changed, I'd ask Dr. Lyos for his opinion on addressing these new areas. If you haven't met him yet, you need to understand a little about Dr. Lyos. He's professional, reserved, and he won't recommend or support any treatment that won't give you the results you're hoping for. (And, more importantly, he'll politely inform you if your expectations are in need of a reset.) Moreover, he's not a plastic surgeon who's keen on completely overhauling the way you look--so, if you're going in hoping to **subtly** enhance your lips, or get rid of your wrinkles, you won't have to worry about coming out looking like Kylie Jenner, or like someone's pulling your whole scalp back. I've recommended Dr. Lyos to dozens of my friends, family, and coworkers; those who have heeded my recommendation have, in turn, become standing patients of his. I will never go to anyone other than Dr. Lyos for my cosmetic needs; and you shouldn't either.

I consulted multiple plastic surgeons throughout Houston until I found my choice, Dr. Chaowen Wu, of Revel You. I was drawn to her because I felt she was trustworthy, compassionate, understanding, and had the best plan to achieve the outcome I wanted. In terms of the surgery, a face lift and neck lift was performed at the Hourglass Surgery Center. It was staffed with friendly and caring professionals who were mindful of cleanliness and patient safety. I feel fortunate because I did not experience any complications and returned to work one week after surgery. Ultimately, the combination of a face and neck lift gave me the beautiful results I dreamed about, especially in my cheeks, jawline and neck! I feel much better about my appearance and I attribute my refreshed look as a facilitating factor in the positive changes I am making in my life. I think it is important to work with a surgeon who is artistically skillful, well qualified and understands your needs. I thank you, Dr. Wu, for helping me. You are appreciated and highly recommended to others who are seeking this kind of help!

I was told this was something I was "born with" and that it was swelling, but this was not discussed with me prior to surgery. I was sent articles after the surgery to educate me instead of before. Six months later, I proceeded with a paid revision. During that procedure, I experienced significant pain and expressed that multiple times. The procedure continued, and the final result was not reviewed with me as previously discussed. Fat was also taken from my inner thighs during the revision. I was told this would not leave visible marks, but I now have noticeable indentations in those areas. At this point, my arms are still uneven in size, with my left arm significantly smaller than my right. My right arm looks like I have a deformed elbow. I also continue to have a visible pink scar along my tummy tuck incision nearly two years later. I still experience swelling in my right hand more than a year after the revision, which I raised concerns about and didn't hear anything back. I attempted to follow up multiple times regarding these concerns, including sending messages that did not receive a response. I was later formally dismissed as a patient and was unable to complete previously discussed follow-up care, including scar treatment and minor corrections. I received a certified letter stating I was no longer her patient after I told her that I didn't feel emotionally or physically safe. The revision hurt more than it should, verbally being told different of many things took an emotional toll on me. After requesting my medical records, it took several months and multiple follow-ups to receive them. This experience took a significant toll on me during the healing process. I also found myself unable to leave feedback on some platforms after being blocked. If I could do it again, I would take more time researching and ensuring all expectations, risks, and follow-up care are clearly documented in advance.

The front office is poorly organized and managed. The front office staff is completely atrocious with their customer care, whether on the phone or in person. The fact they are so disorganized speaks volumes to their practice. If I was a Doctor here, I would be embarrassed to have these individuals representing my practice! UPDATE: My wife went to pickup my paperwork information after they "magically" found it. They didn't even ask for her name when she went to pick it up. So basically, anyone could go in there and "say" they are there to pick something up for someone and your HIPAA rights might get violated! Also, they complained about the "doctor" I named, despite telling me this WAS the name of the doctor I saw. So whether it was Dr. Buczek or Dr. Vidovic is inconsequential at this point, because apparently, even their front desk staff can't keep up. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
