So-so pizza place with crust that's a bit too doughy, but still passable and pretty cheap.

We decided to try this place on Christmas Eve, and it was surprisingly not too busy. I previously…read moresaw a positive food review for the new Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, so we gave it a try. Our order was called in and was asked to be ready for 6:30, and it was. I was pleased with the look and amount of toppings, the crust was pretty thin, but I prefer thin crust. The taste was just OK. It really needed more sauce as it was quite dry. This speciality pizza comes with a ranch sauce instead of tomato, so that was most likely the cause. I'm on the fence about this place, I think it has the potential to be really good, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I would be willing to give it another try in the future.

I'm a thick crust gal and I've gone into their store so I know that they have bags of dough specifically for thick crust pizza. Took 4 years of complaints for them to finally get in gear. The only other complaint I have is that they rush pizza out of the ovens sometimes and it is absolutely gross and can potentially make you sick. I like bacon on my pizza and about 6/10 times its barely done. If you order within the last 2 hours of closing you can bet the pizza is barely done and the bacon is raw which everyone knows is a health hazard. So what keeps me coming back? One feature they have that I live is the app that lets you pay through the app so there's no hassle at the door. With a visa debit, it comes right out of my bank account.

Others may have mentioned already that the 'cafe' part of their name can be a bit misleading as…read morethis is effectively a regular full service restaurant and bar. It's not very casual and not a place for coffee or premade deserts and sandwiches - if that's your understanding of 'cafe'. But it is very much an institution in Orangeville having been going since 1989 and still going very strong. To illustrate, the fairly large dinning room was practically full for lunch service on a regular Tuesday. I sat at the bar (which is in a separate room) and looked at the various options from the lunch menu. There's quite an extensive drink menu, and it was cool to see that the 4 draught beers were all local. I went with the Caledon Hills lager which was fantastic. The chicken wrap was a safe choice, but based on the description it seemed to hit the spot for the somewhat lighter lunch I was looking for: grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato and herbed cream cheese. It was all as described. Nothing to blow me away, but hit the spot and the ingredients were great and I enjoyed the cream cheese which seemed to be made in house (the blend at least). Again, this place is somewhat high end however, with it being about the cheapest item on the lunch menu ($17) and it didn't come with a side. Service was great. It seems to be a running theme through the reviews, so looks like you should expect the same. It's definitely enough to warrant another visit and try dinner sometime.

Service was impeccable. I can tell they truly treat everyone like family. If I had to describe…read moretheir dishes - it'd be elevated comfort food. Very rich in homey flavours, but refined. Make reservations for the weekends because they will be PACKED. We got in as a walk-in for late lunch and were sat at their bar seating. We ordered: -GRILLED SHRIMP GORGONZOLA (5/5) absolutely divine. The shrimps were big & juicy. I could DRINK the sauce - but thankfully we ordered some additional bread to soak it all up :p Even so, we had extra sauce that they encouraged us to bring home. We repurposed it & tossed it with some plain pasta at home! 2 dishes for 1, love it. -BLUEBIRD CHOP SALAD (4/5) definitely a filling salad, great portions -WOOD FIRED OVEN PIZZA (4/5) we got a seasonal flavour, it was overall good with a thicker outer crust

If you want a pizza that's typical of the fast food style, then sure it's $5 for two slices (pretty…read morebig) and it's not awful but it's not great, 241 Pizza at this location is pretty small, just a few seats at a bench top, so we ate in the car. The two slices will get you full, and they come out fast if you're in a hurry, but there's a reason I don't get pizza at stores like this. New York style pizza will beat it out anytime, and homemade pizza is cents on the dollar for way better quality. So whatever if you're gonna go for pizza at a shop this isn't the worst thing but I wouldn't go for it unless I was really hungry. Pizza: cheesy, meaty (Meat Lover's) - good taste to the sausage and pepperoni, generous amount of toppings, doughs a bit on the chewy side but not too thick, and then it's heated up when you order it which makes it decent. Definitely better than a Pizza Hut or Pizza Pizza. Service: really nice guy serving us that was great! :) 3/5, this location-guy was super nice so it's a thumbs up but in general this franchise (or any) probably never again.

The slices at 241 are 90% perfect (unless you get the last one of the pie). The marinara sauce is yummy and they put a generous amount of cheese (could always use more of course)...as far as slices go, best in town no question. Staff are pretty friendly too can't forget that

We were looking for dinner after a Matinee performance, following checking in, and without having…read moremade a reservation. Having spent a weekend earlier in the year in Stratford neither was I keen about some of the prices that the downtown restaurants like to charge. Pazzo Taverna and Pizzeria seemed to be the answer. At 6PM we actually were able to book a 7:30 table. The room was still busy when we arrived and there was a small crowd waiting but we were seated quickly with menus. The bill of fare is pretty much limited to salads, a couple of appetizer choices, a variety of pizzas, and a handful of pasta dishes. Still, a Marco Polo pizza (roast chicken, sun dried tomatoes, feta, & basil) for me and Spaghetti & Meatballs for my spouse suited our dining preferences. My spouse had a glass of a Spanish Red with her meal, I was satisfied with just water. We were impressed that everything on their wine list was available by the glass as well as by the bottle. Also, we got some satisfaction to see Canadian, Italian, and other countries' wines with one particular exception. (As for that, take your annexation threats and stuff it where you're storing all the Bourbon that isn't crossing the border either.) For my wife's spaghetti, the pasta was fresh and the meatballs plentiful. As for my pizza, I found it flavourful with fresh Basil and the crust was thin and crisp. Portion sizes were more and sufficient as we both had something to take away. Service was quick and cheerful. The room cleared out quickly as we expect a lot of tables were headed for an evening curtain. Still, there seem to be a lot of hard surfaces and it can get a bit loud, it did get a lot better once more tables departed. While not cheap we felt we received value for money, especially compared to some of the other nearby establishments. We'll still go there but from time to time it's nice not to have to fork over 3-digits on a dinner for two.

Service: 4 Food: 3 We ordered the burrata which was pretty good though it was more gritty that smooth inside like the ones I've had at some other places. We had two pizzas and their toppings were great, but I prefer a more light/airy crust. This one was quite hard and on the chewy side. The kale salad was delicious and the best out of the 3 .
