Topman is a growing brand in its' own right in the UK, despite basically being the younger sibling of Topshop, who seem to be the main shop, where most of their stores now have a Topman inside, which specialises in mens clothing.
This branch of Topman is really small, being on the upper floor which is only a fraction the size of the actual store, there is lift access, through a small yet manageable lift for prams and wheelchairs, as well as steps, but you would need to use the lifts or stairs in this store as there would be no way to get to it, using the Grand Arcade mall due to how it is positioned in the shop.
The staff here didn't seem too friendly and welcoming, and they didn't try to make sure I was okay or looking for anything, and didn't comment on how quick I went in and out, at the speed of Hector Bellerin.
This Topman store has a really small range, and it was pointless even taking the time to go up and take a look, and it is so small infact, I can't help but feel it must have cost more to build the extension for the Topman store, than what they are going to make in profits, it seemed as suspected very quiet on the top floor, as said above the range and sizes were very limited and I couldn't find what I was looking for, which I had seen at other branches such as the one in the Manchester Arndale for example.
Sadly, due to its' size and poor range and selection, I can't help but question the need for this store, it is hard to pick up the positives too, with it being quite hard to get in for just quick look, as you would have to go up a lift or stairs, and the staff didn't seem too welcoming either, therefore I sadly feel this place only warrants a single one star. read more
