This was a wonderful way to wind down our day and enjoy a fantastic meal. There weren't many people in the restaurant but as we continued with our meal, more and more people stopped in. The waiters and waitresses went to lunch and yet our service was still wonderful. Our kids were given coloring books and colored pencils to color with while they waited for their meal. They loved their hot chocolates and they didn't make it too hot for our kids to enjoy, it was wonderful. The kids meal came with bitterballens, fries and salad and my kids licked the plate clean. I had the roasted chicken with dutch asparagus and chips, it was beautifully cooked. My husband had the lamb and again, perfectly cooked and we loved every bite. To finish our meal, we shared the cheese plate, with rum cake and ended it with some coffee. We had such a great meal and we walked back to the train station to go back to Central Station Amsterdam full and happy.

The restaurant is located in a shopping street. At first it looks a strange for such high level restaurant. If one would sit on the street side, you'd have a view of an DA shop, Arke and Gall & Gall. Not necessary attractive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone to go get a table inside in the restaurant or surely in the garden area (at the back)
