Rather than assisting in resolving an issue caused by a third party, she was more concerned with covering herself and the company. During our conversation, she repeatedly used "YOU" as if this is what I was trying claim, when referring to what the insurance company was seeking, rather than understanding that it was a third-party assessment. When I pointed this out, she became smug and outright denied what she had said just moments earlier. She wasn't interested in listening to understand--only in dictating her position and rushing through the conversation. Regarding our water leak, she made an absurd statement: "If you were there, wouldn't you have been able to respond to the issue?" Our response: "So this happening during work, are you saying I could have shut off the main water supply from work and prevented the same outcome?" Her response? Silence. If you're looking for a company that provides real customer service and genuine empathy during a hardship, this is NOT the agency for you. We asked for help multiple times throughout the day, and when I reiterated, "We are just looking for help," her dismissive response was, "Well, you didn't ask me for help." Why did she think we were reaching out in the first place? With insurance companies already under scrutiny for non-payment and policy cancellations, being treated this way was appalling. As a Veteran with PTSD, she hit every possible trigger, making an already stressful situation even worse. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Jennifer and Farmers have been fantastic. I was with Liberty Mutual since the 90's and they were…read morenot doing me any favors both with rates and customer service. I decided to switch over to Farmers and Jennifer basically halved my insurance payments with better coverage and a smaller deductible! I couldn't believe how easy she made it and wish that I had done this years ago. I'm always able to reach her when I have questions and her turnaround time is lightening fast for anything I need. I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer for both car and home.

Holy gods, this is the most astonishingly useless benefits system I have ever encountered. With…read moreCrosby, my T-Pass auto reloaded and deducted the appropriate amounts with no user input after the initial benefits election. With EBPA, I have to calculate the salary dollars required to pay for the pass, with the employer benefit, and set up a deduction online. There is no clear guidance on how to calculate these totals. It would seem that the scale of a university client would merit a pre-calculated option for a basic function such as 'buy a recurring T-Pass.' Further, once you attempt to sign up, there is no confirmation email to indicate that that has been successful, and they cannot look up your data because they won't link it to an account number until you register your benefits card, which they won't send you until it is too late to order a Charlie Card/T-Pass online via the MBTA (card and cash by the 20th of the preceding month; online purchases must be complete by the 15th of the preceding month). They don't even provide a Charlie Card, you have to get it yourself, using the benefits card, which for some godforsaken reason conflated my Transit and FSA funds, creating a recordkeeping nightmare. They don't even support recurring orders with the MBTA, you simply have to re-up the pass yourself every cycle. Further, when logging in to resgister my benfefits card, it failed to recognize the employee ID number and the benefits card numbers that they provided to me. I was then locked out of the web interface. There is no 'recover password' option. No one is on call in the evening to answer questions. Is my benefts card even active? I have no way of knowing, other than trying to buy a Charlie Card and T-Pass at a store somewhere. So essentially, the 'service' is they put money in a tax exempt bag, and you do all the work. I hope the service is cheap as hell, because I've probably spent more dollar-equivalents in time just trying to get this set up that the school could possibly have saved. At this point, I'd rather just stuff the benefit and buy the damn thing myself. Also, the web interface has the savvy of a third-grader from 2001 and requests personal identification numbers that it really should not need (e.g. full SSN). Bad web design plus improper requests for personal identifiers equals a hackers paradise. Stay away! Use a vendor that actually provides a service.

I never would have thought to use a broker when setting up my Medicare coverage, but after this…read moreexperience I can confidently say that everyone should. There are so many moving parts when you first enroll in Medicare. You have to understand the differences between Medicare Advantage plans versus Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans, how Part D prescription coverage works, and how to handle dental, vision, and hearing coverage that Medicare doesn't include. It's a lot to navigate, and it's easy to miss important details or fall into one of the many traps that exist if you're not fully informed. Michael took the time to walk me through everything step-by-step. He had a very organized checklist to make sure we covered all the key decisions and explained the pros and cons of each option in a way that was easy to understand. He also did an excellent job explaining some of the potential pitfalls with certain Medicare Advantage plans, which was incredibly helpful. Our meeting lasted nearly two hours, and at no point did I feel rushed. By the time we finished, I felt confident that I understood my options and that I was making the right decision. Michael helped me enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan that fit my needs, along with guidance on Part D and other coverage considerations. One of the most important things people should know is that using a broker like Michael does not cost the client anything. They are compensated by the insurance companies, not by you. In fact, the price I received was exactly the same as the quote I got directly from Blue Cross when I contacted them myself. What I appreciated most was the education. Instead of trying to steer me toward a quick sale, Michael focused on making sure I understood the entire Medicare landscape so I could make an informed decision. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and patience shown throughout the process. When my wife is ready to choose her Medicare coverage, I will absolutely have her meet with Michael as well. If you're approaching Medicare enrollment and feel overwhelmed by all the options, I highly recommend working with a knowledgeable broker like Michael. It can save you a lot of confusion and help you avoid costly mistakes.
