Rather than assisting in resolving an issue caused by a third party, she was more concerned with covering herself and the company. During our conversation, she repeatedly used "YOU" as if this is what I was trying claim, when referring to what the insurance company was seeking, rather than understanding that it was a third-party assessment. When I pointed this out, she became smug and outright denied what she had said just moments earlier. She wasn't interested in listening to understand--only in dictating her position and rushing through the conversation. Regarding our water leak, she made an absurd statement: "If you were there, wouldn't you have been able to respond to the issue?" Our response: "So this happening during work, are you saying I could have shut off the main water supply from work and prevented the same outcome?" Her response? Silence. If you're looking for a company that provides real customer service and genuine empathy during a hardship, this is NOT the agency for you. We asked for help multiple times throughout the day, and when I reiterated, "We are just looking for help," her dismissive response was, "Well, you didn't ask me for help." Why did she think we were reaching out in the first place? With insurance companies already under scrutiny for non-payment and policy cancellations, being treated this way was appalling. As a Veteran with PTSD, she hit every possible trigger, making an already stressful situation even worse. Avoid this agency at all costs.

3 years as a customer- always auto paying and always on top of everything- and today I wake up,…read moreview an email from them, log into my account and see that my car insurance DOUBLED for this upcoming year. I get hit in rush hour traffic- by a man who FAILED to yield, and I get found 50/50 at fault! So what does allstate do? They waive my deductible, send me a check for my "good driver" status.. and then a couple months later my car insurance DOUBLES. This is absurd! An increase I TOTALLY understand, as I am in the business industry. BUT DOUBLED!? "There's nothing we can do. Previously you had a 17% discount for being a good driver". THAT was their response. I'm APPALLED! HERES THE PROBLEM. The fact that you discount good driver status, and not loyal customers- is ridiculous. I'm done, and I'm taking my business elsewhere. For 3 years I have been RAVING about how I FOUND The BEST insurance company. I was ecstatic because i had previous issues with other insurance companies- specifically liberty mutual and Amica.
