He had told me I needed to sign a broker of record doc for him to get quotes. He never stated that signing would switch the insurance agent. He stated he needed the form signed so he could receive a current Record of Loss. I had left voice mails and sent emails regarding the quotes, never heard back. I don't deal with businesses that don't follow up so I never pursued answers. Sept 15th 2025, I open my renewal policy and I have 2 trucks listed that I haven't had since April. I found out AFTER CALLING MY INSURANCE COMPANY, BROWNELL via Rick jrs manipulation....that Brownell was now my auto agent. Made another call and sent more emails.......no response from them. Just the epitome of a slimy insurance sales people. Trust is gained in drops and lost by the bucket load. Brownells has proven to be completely untrustworthy, in my opinion...as demonstrated by their actions.

I had Allstate Insurance for over a decade. I had various policies over the years but as of this…read moresummer 2016 I had condo (rental property), homeowner's, (2) vehicles and (2) life insurance. Linda was always very friendly and attentive and her team responded quickly to questions by email and phone. They are great, although not sure about Allstate itself. Which brings me to the 3 stars..... For some reason my premiums sky-rocketed over the last 3 years despite no claims. When I asked why I was told it's just what comes out of the system based on several factors. Not sure what the factors are, but maybe listen less to the computer analytics and more to the long-time client who has several policies, little to no claim history and NEVER ONCE was late paying or complained about premiums for over 10 years. I don't get it. I need to do a little research too as to workers comp insurance (i.e. I won't do any research) because I called and told them I hired a nanny and wanted to add worker's comp to my homeowner's. So they added it and my premium went up. I was told recently, however, that worker's comp is mandatory anyway and on all NH homeowner's policies....so why the increase there and no explanation about worker's comp? Anyway, non-issue now, and I just don't care enough to look into it. I almost stayed with them anyway, but a day after i called about the upcoming increase in auto premium... they sent me an amended car insurance renewal and it went up even from the quote days before! Wow. Maybe they were trying to show me the door....who knows. I switched to another carrier with everything except life insurance and am saving big time for increased (i.e. better) coverage. I'm talking significant money percentage-wise anyway. Allstate was great at first though...so shop around and bounce around seems to be the insurance game.
