I've converted quite a few people into fans. I tend to use this place as a takeaway more than an eat in place as its not too far to go and it's cheaper to take it home and eat it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is a very good standard, far better than most chinese takeaways I've been to but I think that's due to it being a restaurant too which pushes the standard higher. This is a popular place on a weekend so if you're eating in it's probably a good idea to book a table, if you can't get booked in then just order a takeaway. The only downside is they don't do delivery as they are very busy so you have to get it yourself.

The only thing i would say is it would be great if they would do free delivery if you order over a certain ammount but there it a standered delivery charge no matter what you order but its worth it for the great prices and great food.. also every now and then i get a free fortune cookie.. For main course I had sweet and sour chicken. It was DELICIOUS. At imperial you get just the right amount of food, so its not like your eating what seems to be a never ending plate of food which happens in a lot of places!! That being said, I could have eaten that meal til i was sick, it was just beautiful! Beautifully seasoned with just the right amount of sweet and sour. And who could really argue with the fact you get free prawn crackers and a fortune cookie and mints at the end?! Not me!! The staff are also really friendly and really helpful. We don't eat at the restaurant much but when we do we always have a great meal. I would particularly recommend the salt and pepper chicken that they serve because even my extremely fussy child love it. (This does not make sense as it is a buffet and can order as much as you like) Also 2 members of our table where veggies so they do not eat duck. The staff when we told them that it was for 5 people laughed and said no 6 duck 6 people? After nothing was said our party paid for 6 people and left. The ill person that left had asked for a glass of tap water (which by law a restaurant has to give) the staff said they do not give free tap water and you have to buy a bottle. I have been here before never really my choice and after this time I will not be returning. People are talking about the amazing atmosphere and how nice the place is, I did not have this experience on more than one occasion.
