She's super easy to reach if you have any questions when not in class, and seems to really love all her pupper students. I really love her approach to teaching, too. She teaches how to positively reward your dog so they can learn important skills that you might not have even thought about, while also teaching how to correct behaviors without having to turn to any sort of punishment that could hurt them like a shock collar or dog whistle. My dog absolutely loves her, and is thriving under her teaching. My biggest issues before training was barking when not getting what he wanted and pulling on his leash. Now, I have plenty of tools to turn to, to discourage the barking and he doesn't really pull when walking now. Like, the change with walks was so dramatic from even the first lesson on pulling, so I'm so happy! The way she trains is with your dogs happiness in mind. We learn about anxious behaviors so we can try and teach our pups in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. Her training isn't about forcing them to exemplify the behaviors fast, it's about doing them in a safe, healthy manner that ensures these behaviors last their whole life.

It was getting so out of hand that it was impacting our experience with him as our pet. We found Macayla at Unleash Fido in Jacksonville. We enrolled Taz in their 4/5 weeks obedience training and OMG we legit have a brand new dog!! He is more calm, settled, obedient and has really responded positively to this new training and rules. The entire team at Unleash Fido have been very helpful, professional and kind. Our trainer Macayla has checked in with us frequently to see how things are going, answering questions and has provided several post training sessions to ensure we are comfortable and continuing his training. We were recommend Unleash Fido by several people. We scheduled an hour long consultation with Travis who ended up giving us 90 minutes of his time to learn about Lily and discuss their program. Lily had several issues, such as pulling on the leash, lunging at cars, barking at people + other dogs and going absolutely crazy when Amazon/UPS was delivering a package. Ultimately, we booked Lily into their month-long Obedience Training Camp. After receiving weekly report cards that contained photos, videos and a brief update on how the last week was, we were finally ready to pick-up Lily. Our first time picking her up was also our first training with her. We worked on establishing place, having her heel while walking, and working on other things around distractions. Within the first 24 hours back at home, our investment in this training payed dividends. She's obedient on walks, doesn't mind others passing by, comes to us on call, goes to place when told and so much more. We'd highly recommend anyone who's dealing with behavior and/or obedience issues to look into Unleash Fido! It was so embarrassing to have an unruly dog, and this was a true investment that we are so happy we made.
