The front office staff has worked us in we the animal needed treatment immediately, and her problem was solved. They are very patient with our rescue dog who is taking quite a long time to adjust to friendly people. She put me on hold and came back and said she had no appointments this Friday June 17 nor on Saturday. I then asked if there were any appointments next week and she replied no and hung up mid conversation. I called back and spoke with the manager and was told the incident would be addressed. The person hanging up was not only rude, but represented the business poorly. This was my first and last call to this business because apparently they don't need or value new customers!

When asked why the vet had not gotten back from lunch at 2 pm, receptionist informed her that he had been called away to another emergency. What made my wife the most upset about that is that they had not informed her of that other emergency. She ended up taking our dog (with two 6-inch long and pretty deep scratches on her abdomen) to another vet in Tallahassee where the treatment of the dog took another 6 hours - obviously quite the emergency. Even with my wife leaving with an injured animal, no follow-up phone call to us from the vet or the receptionist finding out how our dog was doing and whether we had found a place to treat her. Lost customers for life with that treatment!

Took our newly adopted dog for a check up (she had been abandoned). We usually take our other pet…read moreto the Wellborn location as it's closer. This visit was at the Live Oak location as it was the earliest we could get in and our girl had some fleas. She was checked over twice for a chip, which she did not have. We had her chipped. Two techs got her vitals and checked her out. Both were very nice and personable and loved our dog. Dr. Poarch came in and sat right on the floor with our dog, all 62 pounds of her. Checked her over really well. Couldn't feel a spay scar (most vets 'tattoo' the scar these days but she didn't have one). As we're making an appointment to get her spayed, and she rolled over to allow anyone to pet her belly. As one of the techs was loving on her, she thought she saw a slight scar. She got the doc and asked if they could shave her to confirm. Low and behold, whoever spayed this beautiful girl did a remarkable job. So, one less appointment/expense and she got her rabies shot and flea and heart meds. These folks are amazing!

One month ago we requested it to be done again and they refused saying they will write it out for us and we would have to come pick it up instead of handing them to us while at the exam day. It took 4 weeks for them to finally do it after numerous phone calls. My grandson went to pick them up and when I looked at the scripts one was for a 6 month supply and the other for one single pill. So now I have to go back to the office to get another script for the 6 month supply. This is ridiculous and absolutely unprofessional. Our new kitten will not be going to this vet. Next year Tippie and Ruby will also be moved to the new veterinarian not Kelli Sanders VM12646. Our pets deserve better consideration.
