Today was the 3rd time I went to Rogers Safe and Lock and as before I wasn't disappointed. The…read morefirst time was a month or so ago when I needed some keys made because the copies I had made at Home Depot didn't work. They made them at Roger's for half the price and they worked, and nice guys too. So last week when I needed to change out a commercial door latch for the back door of a downtown building on first Street, I went to Roger's. I had pictures of the door latch and they had exactly what I needed. They even opened up the box and showed me exactly how to install it, multiple times. He had me confident enough that when I I got back to the job, it only took about 5 minutes before I had the old latch off and the new one on. Made my job super easy. So today, same customer needed me to change out the front door keyed latch because of problems with a former employee . So I went back to Roger's, prepared to buy another door keyed latch, they asked if I had the key to the front door latch, I did and they said that I could just change the keyed cylinder instead of the whole door latch, saving me about a hundred dollars. As before, a different employee walked me thru the whole process enough that again when I got back to the job, I was able to change the cylinder out in a couple of minutes. The guys at Roger's saved me time and money!!!

I chose Oklahoma Shelters off the internet. After searching, I talked to Len…read moreVery courteous and professional. The contract was a snap. Len kept me informed throughout the process. After about 10 days. The two men who showed up to install my shelter were the nicest people you'd want to meet. They hustled and had the job done within 20 minutes. It was actually better than I expected. I am totally satisfied. And I think will be too. Check them out.

I wanted a tornado shelter, after all the tornadoes Oklahoma has been having this year. In the…read morebeginning, the gentleman that I spoke with was very kind and friendly; but I did have to push for my contract. So, the day of the dig, the guys that came out were great! Very friendly. But, let it me noted that they leave really huge piles of dirt and rocks behind that you have to figure out what to do with yourself. So, the shelter was installed. Then, a few days later, I finally got to go and check out this new shelter. I had not really payed any attention to it, as my husband was outside with the guys while they installed it (its a guy thing). So, I grab the door handle, to look inside, and I immediately noticed it has some unusual handle, like an RV handle. It was flat/flush with the door. When I grabbed the door handle mechanism I couldn't open the door. This RV camper-type handle just kept flipping my fingers and I couldn't grip it to open the door. The shelter was not installed with the big, heavy-duty handle-type door that their website shows and that I have had on previous storm shelters that I've had. To me, this was a serious safety issue; I need to be able to open the door and get into my shelter. I contacted the business and spoke with the same gentleman that sold me the shelter and he referred me to another guy, who called me right away. This other guy said during COVID the handles changed. I told him that I couldn't even open/grab the door handle to get it open and that the Oklahoma Shelter Website showed the heavy-duty handles. He reminded me that I was the only person with that problem, but he said he could come out and add some type of mechanism (not the heavy-duty door handle they advertised and that I expected). However, he said our warranty would not be valid. I went back and forth a few times with the company and got nowhere. They basically just wanted me to keep the rv-type handle, but they could add some part to the door. I repeatedly told them I just wanted the proper/heavy-duty door handle, like they advertised. I did not ask for anything (discount, refund, etc)., I just wanted the proper door handle that they advertised (heavy-duty type). I got nowhere, so I filed a complaint with BBB. The company's response back was not nice. I am very disappointed with this company and I would not recommend them. They advertise and show a completely different handle (heavy-duty type) and they want me to settle with some cheezy RV-type handle that I can't even open the door with. We are just gonna let people know about our experience with this company and move on. We now have to contact another company to come out and replace the handle mechanism or the entire door. If I can't open a storm shelter during a tornado, because of their rv-type door handle mechanism, then we have a serious problem. I've owned two other storm shelters, from other companies, and never have had this flat, rv-type handle that I can't grip and open the door with; I've always had the big, heavy-duty type handle.
