Again they make it very hard to move. Because they make sure there properties are up kept if you have an issue it's handled ASAP. I've never rented from a leasing company I'm blessed I found them.

Living here since becoming aware of this has caused significant discomfort and distress, especially given how recent and severe the event was. I feel this should have been disclosed as a matter of good faith and fair dealing. When reaching out to discuss either (1) an agreed early termination of the lease without penalty, or (2) a reasonable rent concession in light of this newly discovered horror I was told by one of their leasing staff Laura that they will neither release me from the lease or provide any concessions. Laura claimed the event was "highly publicized" and everyone in her office just "assumed everyone knew". Awful business without a shred of human decency. Stay FAR AWAY!!

Voepel took over my apartment buildings when my landlord sold it a few months ago. Not long after…read morethey got it my dishwasher began to act up and drained all over my kitchen. They were able to come by and replace it only a few days after I made my work order and notified them of the issue. Recently I started to notice water coming in from my garage and soling my downstairs carpet. I put in my work order and waited for a response. When I noticed the issue had escalated a few days later I gave them a call and they sent someone out immediately to help me. Phil was super nice and called me when he got my work order to let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes. 32 minutes later he arrived and looked at my system. He was able to determine the issue was with the exterior unit being dirty and the drain line being clogged. He was able to clean my unit, drain the line, clean up the standing water, and dry out my carpet in the hour he was at my house. Thank you so much Phil for your prompt service, positive attitude, and for letting me know what I can do in the future. They are a great company with great people working for them!

Voepel Property Management became the fourth property manager my husband and I fired - and for good…read morereason. We made the mistake of trusting them at our expense. We purchased an investment home through Bridge Turn Key (BTK) and Voepel, believing we were in good hands. The house passed inspection with no issues - a red flag we ignored. For the first six months, everything seemed fine, but we soon discovered BTK had installed the wrong HVAC system for the house's size. Voepel was initially responsive, helping coordinate repairs. But then, things took a turn. There was a plumbing issue that cost $3K. After owning the house for four years, the second-to-last group of tenants (a group of unrelated individuals in a 5-bedroom home) moved out, and Voepel returned their deposit immediately without inspection. Voepel then charged us a several thousand dollars for the tenant's damages and mess, including blinds chewed up by a tenant's pet parrot (despite a "no animals" lease clause), reinstalled light fixtures the tenants deinstalled, non-standard broken tile in the bathroom, etc. Next, Voepel placed one of their OWN employees as a tenant. She then submitted countless unnecessary repair requests, always just below the $300 homeowner approval limit. We were forced to scrutinize every monthly statement and decipher the improvements that had been requested. This whole relationship was a mess at our sole expense. Worst investment ever. Having managed many properties myself, I highly recommend you manage your own properties. We don't live in KC, hence why we trusted Voepel. There's a learning curve, but you'll do a better job than these so-called professionals.

They want you to put deposit Down IMMEDIATELY after seeing a home like before end of day. Yet can't…read moregive a set move in date because they dont know the time frame on getting repairs done that are needed before move in..? Then why rush a customer to put 1700 down within 6hrs of seeing it. Then when I do, you can't even give me a move in date or estimate, but tell me it's at least going to be 2 weeks till able to move in.. Not everyone has 2 weeks to wait, after already putting 1700 cash deposit... But this company could care less about their customers time.. They're on their own time and don't feel the need to make the customer aware. Which is standard business practice and professionalism,... for most.. when a company take someone's money you give them set dates,, Not put the customer on the backburner, left hanging with no set dates or answers.. Seems they use people's deposits to make repairs before they even move in... they're condescending enough to disregard the customers desire of having set dates.. SHADY COMPANY WITH SHADY PRACTICES... well be disputing the deposit with our bank and getting refund since they could care less about us once we put the deposit down.

Kimberly Williams with McGrew real estate, she said I'll be glad to show it to you but the landlord requires a 600 credit score and yaddy yaddy yaddy.I said well that's not going to work for us and then I said can I tell you a little bit about us? she said yes so I told her my story and to my amazement she really cared she told me to write my story down and to email it to her and she would go to her client and see if she might make an exception and give our family a much-needed break. The next day she got back with me and told me the client did not want to rent with us I guess she's one of those that it's all about the money and not giving someone another chance I've never had an eviction and I've never owed anyone money on rent I just needed a little help. this is not where I wanted to be at 55. I just want to say this is the first review that I'm going to compliment somebody on and thank them for their help and that will be Kimberly Williams because I was somebody that didn't have a pot to piss in and she still went out of her way to try and help me. now the thing is I'm going to be coming into some money in about 6 months quite a lot of money and I'm going to buy a house and I'm not going to call the Chaney's but I'm going to call Kimberly and she's going to sell me a house because my money is green enough for her, so if you're looking for a house, put your money on her thank you Kimberly!!!
