After several hours of waiting for a battery, the end result was that the car would no longer start AT ALL *eye roll*...that's another story. Since the car no longer started, I had no other choice than to call for a tow. All-Over Towing is who came to the rescue. Our towing expert was Bryan S. Bryan was kind, courteous and super skillful. We first started with another attempt at jumping my son's car. Dishearteningly, it did not work. There were several challenges with this tow and Bryan took on each one with jaw-dropping expertise. I watched Bryan in total amazement while he rolled the car up on the tow truck bed. He put "skates" on the wheels so they wouldn't drag too much while pulling the vehicle up. The vehicle is front wheel drive. Who knew there was such a thing? When we arrived at the destination, I watched Bryan again in total amazement while he unloaded the vehicle, (although not without more challenges), with such precision and carefulness. I tell you, you just had to see it to believe it!!!! Bryan is beyond words amazing and I am thankful for his help in our time of need. Bryan, if you should ever see this, I don't have enough words to say thank you for the care and concern you gave. You went over and beyond which to me was superior service. After hitching a ride with my fiance, I started looking for mechanics and towing services. I found Kernersville Towing & Sons and gave them a call. I explained that I was planning on having the car serviced at Crossroads Ford in Kernersville. They then explained that they do all of Crossroads Ford's towing and, because of this, could get me towed to the mechanic for just $55. I felt like this was a great rate, so I accepted it. They said they could come by the next morning and pick up the car. I explained that, unfortunately, I would have to be at work around 7 AM. They then told me I could simply leave the key in a hidden place and they would be able to pick up the car without me being there. But, I don't trust people, so I said I'd prefer to not leave my key outside, albeit in a hidden location. Kernersville Towing was more than accommodating and suggested that I just go ahead and take the key to Crossroads Ford, leave it in their dropbox, and, provided I left the car in park with the emergency brake released, they would be able to pick up the car without my assistance in the morning. I agreed to this and, around 8:30 AM, I received a call stating that they had picked up my car and were on the way to the mechanic. It was a nice surprise to receive such an update. In addition, their relationship with Crossroads Ford allowed me to consolidate everything into one bill. It was quite convenient! They canceled thrice and I was afraid my car was going to be hit by a vehicle trying to pull out in front of me. It just kept getting closer at the time. I ended up interrupting my friend at work who showed up about two hours later. He had a pickup about a little smaller and barely a tower and got me out and parked me near the fire hydrant on the curb. I told the guy when he was there he could park it anywhere close to the curb so it would not get struck hopefully. Now what I don't get is why is the towing guy claiming he helped me when he spoke to me from afar and then abandoned me? Then he said my car was in the pileup? I don't think he's understanding that he's not getting the facts straight about the interaction. I didn't expect him to retaliate with a text this morning. He said: STOP LYING ON PEOPLE, IT REALLY REALLY HURTS SMALL BUSINESSES What are you talking about? They stated they would be there within 40 minutes and they arrived in 30 (I'll wait 5 hours as long as you are honest and tell me it will take that long) - major points on the honesty and promptness. The gentleman was very nice, hooked my car up, and took it to my mechanic without any problems. Would contact them again (but, you know, hopefully not).
