Since writing my initial review of Top Notch Bulldogs there have been new developments. Our Olde English Bulldogge puppy is now 6 1/2 months old. After spending a majority of my time with her since we brought her home, she FINALLY stopped pooping and peeing in her kennel (indoor crate), and lying in it. She still can't be trusted alone in the house, in fact we have to watch her every minute, but I'm beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel with regard to her behavior. My primary concern now is her health. She developed a skin infection on her back, as well as a black growth on her mid back.. After 2 trips to our vet, and 2 series of antibiotics, she suggested we make an appointment with a vet dermatologist. It seems our pup has a staph infection, and we will need to give her 500mg Keflex, 3 times a day, for a month. The growth may or may not be cancer, and will be surgically removed next month. She also has developed a "cherry eye," on her right eye, which will require surgery (we've taken her to our regular vet, as well as a vet opthomologist for this) after her skin infection is resolved, and the growth is removed. All of these medical problems have been, and will continue to be, expensive to treat. read more
