Walked in for two pedicures. The place seemed very dirty at first glance. The floors were gross, there were cleaning supplies sitting next to the chair I was sat at and a dirty towel on the foot rest. have been a client for 10 years. Always pleased until last week. had a new tech. Young lady wearing glasses. Asked for my normal pedicure. Full treatment. She skipped a couple of regular steps. Also very inept using cuticle trimmers and removing calluses on toes. very poor results with cuts on toes, heel and toes. Used cuticle trimmer on callouses which resulted in cuts. Am now having to do foot soaks and antibiotics to prevent infections. So disappointed. Will have to rethink going back. Ugh. I hate doing this. But, i feel as if it's important. I have been going here for the past 4 years and have usually had great experience but this time I came in and my nails were extremely rushed. As well, my friend got the exact same design, but I was charged $15 more than she was for the exact same service. and now 3 weeks later it's time to remove them and they damaged my nails so bad that almost all of my pinky nail is gone. Came off with the acrylic nail. After almost passing out from pain I will no longer be reccomending top nails. Extremely dissapointed. read more

I got my nails done about 2 weeks ago and about 3 days after I got them done I noticed the top coat was peeling off of majority of the nails. I went back and she fixed it for free (I was very grateful for that) but then the top coat started peeling again. Friendly place but I don't think I will return. read more

No attention to details with trying to shape them the same way or clean up the cuticles. Hello, I am writing because my overall experience was bad. It was my first time to do acrylic nails and I am a woman in her 50's. I shared many times with the two people that helped me that I was unfamiliar with the process and needed extra guidance. They were not very busy when I went in. I made an appt. I took at sample bottle of nail polish with me to match color. They directed me to the wrong wall of nail color. I choose something similar to mine but she said no she could not use the one I brought to the front. So I said what about all these nail polishes on this wall? She ignored my questions and said here I will just use yours. What? I knew that could not be right. But she used my example any way. I went home and the next day the polish and acrylic stuff was coming off nails. I went back. I strongly asked the man to redo them. I asked for nails with acrylic tips and their gel polish. Upon, return one week and 3 days later, to have them removed. I discovered that the man or lady the first time had torn into my nail bed on my right hand and stripped out a huge chunk a some point during the first or second initial visits. They tried apologized about the first batch of nails coming off but it seemed like it was just a gesture to placate me so I would not fuss. My husband and I came in together for manicures for our anniversary and I decided to do a dip powder with tip. I never got the manicure. I guess I don't go often enough to a nail salon to know that a manicure is an additional service...I thought it would be part of getting extensions but I guess not. It felt so very rushed....like fast food service rushed, get them out the door ASAP. Neither of our techs had any personality to them. I would have even thought I'd at least get some lotion/cuticle oil put around my nails. My husband has very rough hands and a good soak and lotion/oil would've done his hands a world of good, but yet again, the tech rushed through the procedure. She even cut him in two places while trimming his nails and was basically ripping at his cuticles. IMHO if she would've taken some time and let his hands soften and soak longer she wouldn't have had to rip at his cuticles. I also had part of someone's clipped nail hanging around my station which made me wonder if it had even been cleaned after the previous client. Another thing, I had read (afterwards) that with dipping powders, they shouldn't be dipping clients nails directly into the jars because of sanitation reasons. They should be using a separate pot for each client. And I gave that some thought , because I had gone to the restroom prior to starting my service -I'm a stickler about washing my hands after bathroom duties-and I've witnessed way too many women who don't wash their hands afterward (ewwww) and to think they could just sit down and start dipping their hands right into that shared powder. Double ewwww. I was not instructed to was my hands before hand and without having a "manicure" where nails are soaked and cleaned beforehand....well you get the gist. However, my friend told me about this place and when I went I was surprised on how outspoken all of the people where. The owner is incredibly talented and his wife is honest and skilled herself. Went here on a whim for a pedicure. Left feeling great and relaxed - however when we really looked at our nails outdoors (the salon is quite dark) we realized that every toenail had nail polish past the nail, and the polish was incredibly uneven, which was especially apparent with the darker nail polish colors. We had chosen the OPI deluxe pedicure option, which was $45 each - initially okay with this but after the service, and being pressured to go back and add tip to our total by the staff (incredibly unprofessional and awkward) it was unfortunately not worth the money. read more

First time I went there for pedicure, it was a relaxing and great experience. The staff was nice but one of my friend had rude and bossy staff (loud as well). I felt bad for my friend. I tried the second time, made an appointment and when I got there on the day, they were late and not even opened at the time of the appointment. 15 minutes after my appointment time, they all showed up and I saw few customers were waiting with me outside. Very unprofessional staff: constant questions about our ethnicity and the worker's children are present and given permission to use the cash register and credit card machine. On our last visit they charged a $500 tip to my younger sister's credit card! Granted, they were eventually able to fix things without us having to make the drive to the salon, but it's just unacceptable.
