Being new to firearms I was able to soak up a lot of knowledge just by being in their store and listening to these two gunsmiths talk. All I can say is, wow. Referred to this store by my friend, I can see why he does most of his shopping and gun work here. Their selection is modest at best but you can order online and pay a small fee (around $10-15) to have your firearm delivered to them. Their online selection is immensely larger than most, they've attached themselves to several distributors in the area and I have to say this is a great advantage if you're willing to wait. The turnaround for purchases online is quick, painless and easy as well. Pricing is very competitive when compared to other local stores as their overhead is like comparing a penny to gold. If you're looking for a firearm that agrees with your wallet or if you need a gunsmith that doesn't have an inferiority complex, this is your place.

I was standing at the counter when someone came in wanting to sell a gun, the owner picked up the gun and neglected to point in in a safe area to check/clear it. It was pointed sideways right at my midsection while he looked at it. I backed away from the counter and left. My biggest issues is that this is not a gun that he had inspected previously, he was literally just introduced to it and handled it like it was not a firearm. I will never go back there.

Well…read moreunfortunately i was denied and have no idea why..to go back a bit further i bought a pistol from the same store 3 weeks prior to my second FFL purchase. my 4473 form for my first firearm went through properly and had no hick ups. so why did i get denied this time? nothing has changed in those days leading to my next purchase. I am a Filipino and white mix. my dad served 23 years in the Navy and later went on to become a cop and is now fully retired. he taught me everything i needed to know about firearms. I am a military brat. i've never had to deal with racism before until now. some not all of there employers give me a hard time every time i go up there. mind you for two years this has been my dedicated spot to buy ammo and pawn stuff every now and then. i get weird looks from a couple of them and do not help me with questions i have. Lord I hope i am wrong. but for now i am giving them 3 stars. i will update this as soon as i hear back from TCIS about my purchase. i will do everything in my power to fix this issue even if it means talking to a lawyer.

What I liked the most is that they actually had some stuff I hadn't seen at other sporting goods stores or department stores. Prices are good to comparable with the other sporting goods stores, and they had several active sales when I was in the store. In addition to apparel they have a large selection of workout equipment, racquet sports, basketball, football, baseball supplies and a large section dedicated to hunting and fishing - including guns, ammo, fishing poles, and all the fixings for a day out on the lake or river. They also look to have some seasonal type things, currently they have a big selection of summer type items related to the swimming pool or being on the water. Employees were friendly and took care of people quickly in the check out line. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone looking for the stuff I described above.
