Everyone was either 2-3 weeks out or wanted to charge overtime rates and still couldn't guarantee they'd have my power restored before the weekend. Not Dave. Those things weren't even brought up. He was immediately "we'll get this done and you back home". Matt went out that day to do a quote. Bob and Randy were at my house at 8am the next morning to make the repairs. Not only were they professional and prompt, they were kind, compassionate and made sure to keep me informed from start to finish. When I informed them my insurance wasn't going to cover the repairs, Dave, Bob and Randy said they would do whatever possible to save me money. True to their word, Bob and Randy not only repaired the electrical outside, but notified the inspector, contacted the power company and STAYED until they were finished to make sure my son and I had power and heat. I called to have a pendant light installed in my kitchen - a 4 hour job max, but my appointments were rescheduled three times over the course of 2 weeks. For a working person that must take vacation time from work to be home for the installation, that is unacceptable. Each time the staff called to reschedule (always 1/2 hour before arrival time), they were courteous and apologetic, but that didn't make up for my feeling that the value of my own time was not considered. I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen, but Hucker needs to have a backup plan in place instead of rescheduling over and over. I would not recommend this contractor unless you want to keep rescheduling over and over and never get any work done.

They worked feverishly to install our unit. They even painted the gas pipe white that ran from our gas meter at the front of the house to the generator at the back of the house so it would match the white siding. Due to last winters blizzard, during another outage in April this year, the generator was pulling hard. I phoned and was told they had many complaints similar to mine. Seems snow blew in there and it needed a cleaning. They had a service man here the first thing the very next morning. It was the snow that caused the problem. Anytime my wife or I call Lone Oak they always return our calls the same day! We are very happy with them and their work. We have recommended them to many and they too were pleased.
