As a 29 year old woman who has, for as long as she can remember, had to endure the trials and tribulations of having much larger than "average" breasts, I had resigned myself to the fact that I would just never be comfortable with my undergarments.
I am an "average" size woman who wears a 34G (Victoria's Secret told me I was a 38DD) and my experience with Top Drawer literally changed my life. It sounds cheesy and cliché but it's true.
Upon entering the store, I chatted briefly about the store and how great their size range was, before I had even had the chance to express any concern or discontentment, the woman I was chatting said with a smile on her face (who I later learned was one of the owners Deb Robb) "you're wearing that tank top because of your bra aren't you".
This woman was GOOD! She was right I ALWAYS had to wear a tank top with built in shelf bra with ANYTHING I wore to pick up the slack of my ill-fitting bra - these tank tops (I owned in every color humanly imaginable) had become a regular part of my everyday life and wardrobe.
Deb brought me into the fitting room, measured me, and proceeded to bring me bras to try, I found several that I LOVED. I could immediately see such a huge difference in the way I felt (back/shoulders) and the way my clothes fit (there is photographic evidence - before/after picture on their website).
So how did a properly fitting bra change my life?
It has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the amount of laundry I have to do as I no longer have to wear tank tops under anything I wear unless I choose to.
My clothes have an entirely new life and fit me better than I could have ever hoped, I can now wear shirts that I would never have dreamed I could wear, and I am no longer constantly adjusting and pulling on my bra.
And here is the big one; I have gained a new confidence. I am no longer self-conscious of my appearance, I don't feel like my breasts are the only thing people see when they look at me (these bras keep "the girls" in check) and I no longer worry about if my breast s are going to pop out. My back and shoulders also feel so much better and my posture has improved.
I will NEVER again wear an ill-fitting bra, though you will pay more for the bras at Top Drawer than you will at Walmart, Kohls, JC Penny, etc., for me you cannot put a price on the value of how this experience has changed my life.
