My wife and I pick up donuts from here all the time. The breakfast eggrolls, kolaches and thier donuts are all amazing. Make sure to grab a Vietnamese coffee too while you are there. I picked up some donuts and kolaches for my coworkers. The majority of them are from Ukraine and one of themy said that these are, "the best donuts I've had in America." read more

I got some donuts, kolache, and iced Vietnamese coffee. They were all delicious! Note the coffee is on the sweeter side than I'm used to for viet coffee, but still pretty good! Would recommend this place for your quick sweet fixing read more

Ordered a couple donuts, some breakfast egg rolls (AMAZING!!), and some egg, bacon and cheese croissant sandwiches (also AMAZING!!!). Service was quick. Ambiance was typical donut shop. Will be returning for more egg rolls and croissant sandwiches!! read more

THE BEST breakfast egg rolls I have ever had!!! He was so kind and brought them to the car for me while i waited! The breakfast here is always so fresh! read more

I have to say it's been some time since I've been to top donuts. It seemed like last year when I go it would have very little selection left and quite honestly the guy was never very friendly. This morning after spending $14 at Dunkin' Donuts just to have them out of everything that I wanted I decided to drop in literally just to get some donut holes for my daughter. When I walked in, I was amazed at their selection. Every donut looked amazing and fresh and they have probably the best kolaches I've ever tried. Chapel Hill sausage, Boudin, they even have sausage and egg breakfast egg rolls, which I'm excited to try. I think I'm looking forward to my strawberry glazed doughnutwith apple jack on top. The man and woman team were pleasant and efficient and I'm excited to have top donuts as my go to donut shop again. read more

Great customer service. Love the boudin kolaches and breakfast egg rolls ! I have to come here atleast once a week.

Awesome place! I had the most bomb bacon, egg and cheese croissant I've ever had! Will definitely be back!

Came here based on good reviews and amazing pictures. This place is no longer like this. Just came here at 9am and the donut cases were less than half empty. No specialty donuts if any kind. No maple bacon donuts that I read about. No holes, no cream filled donut. So got an "eclair" which was pretty much a chocolate donut bar overfilled with cream. Wasn't a true pastry with thick chocolate, very sad. Got a few of the usual donuts, glazed rings and pink sprinkle donuts. They were pretty small. Tasted like a simple donut. They were nothing like the reviews from years ago stated. I got a sausage kolache and it was better than Shipley donuts kolache, the bread was more pastry like and buttery, but not as big or fresh tasting as kolache Facotry. This place tastes like the donuts were half a day old. Sorry top, but your on the bottom of my list. Won't be back read more

Was in the area and Top Donuts came up as being great. NOPE. The pics of the place are deceiving, u walk in and don't see all them donuts. A large variety to pick from, not so. Got kolaches and expensive. Shoulda gone to Chick Fil A and got a full breakfast for the price of kolaches. read more

3 words. MAPLE BACON DONUTS!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and try one. Your taste buds will forever thank you. I called right before I got in my car so they're waiting for me when I got to the shop (they don't have it on display, but will make them on request). They have tons of cute pastel glazed donuts and a variety of savory kolaches/pastries (breakfast sandwiches, boudain, egg rolls, etc). I go out of my way (pass 3 other donut shops) to get here and it's so worth it. My son informed me that Top Donuts is now his favorite donut shop and he no longer favors chocolate sprinkle donuts but the maple bacon donuts is now a priority... and will never look back. read more

I'm always looking for more from donut shops. There are so many great opportunities to experiment. Top Donuts has done just that. I was surprised to see an egg roll filled with egg and sausage. It was amazing. Best thing I have ever had at a donut shop. The wrapper was thicker than you'd normally see from a fried spring roll, and super crispy. The inside was soft, with very tasty sausage. It was a great contrast. The Kolaches were also tasty. It's a subtle difference that makes a big impact. Less dough. I think the reason I like these so much more than other places is that each bite has more meat. No bites of only bread at Top Donut. *Below are shameless requests that were inspired by the egg roll. The experience made me think. I love boudin. I always want to like boudin Kolaches. I just never really like the boudin and bread combo. It's too soft for me. I would love to see a boudin egg roll. That crispy outside with the soft rice inside would be amazing. If Top Donut ever makes a batch, I'll be first in line to try it. Another shameless request because there are so many foods I would love to see served a donut shops: Chinese fried/steamed pork buns. For the uninitiated, think meatball wrapped in dough. Reminds me a lot of a kolache. If a restaurant ever put that on the menu, I'd put them on my list of regular breakfast spots. *I'm also kind of curious. Why is an egg roll called an egg roll. I don't think they have egg do they? Did Top Donut just create the egg egg roll or just an egg roll? read more

Great donuts!! Thats all you need from a donut shop. Additionally, the cashier lady was so nice and she provided us with exceptional service. Overall I am beyond satisfied with this donut shot especially for visiting during Covid. My only small complaint would be the selection but this is because I usually stop by about an hour before close, so that is to be expected :) 5 stars. I recommend these donuts. My entire family agrees and they're not easy to please. read more

Amazing donuts and kolaches!! We've tried a variety of donuts and several different kolaches and they've all been fresh and delicious!

Great food and even better customer service! Way better than the big chain donut shops.

TL;DR If you're looking for a great donut shop that has something different, this is the spot. Came here based on the reviews so I figure I ought to add to them. I am SO GLAD we came here. The donuts were super fresh and the kolaches and savory treats were amazing! Breakfast eggsrolls . Let me repeat: BREAKFAST EGGROLLS!!! They were so delicious, I've never had anything like that before. The bacon and sausage kolache was wonderful with a real, while slice of bacon in it. The mini sausage kolaches were great too! They were like donut hole sized kolache bites. AND THE DRINKS! We had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Chai Tea and they were both excellent, especially he Vietnamese coffee. Everything was so good, we came back the next day. The man who took care of us the first morning even poked his around and asked if we wanted our iced drinks again! Needless to say, every part of it was great and you should go! read more

Everything is homemade. The food tastes great and lots of variety. A great meal that won't break the bank.

So impressed with everything here, starting with the warm smile and friendly service. The variety is amazing. I went in just to "try it" and left with 8 different items to take home. After sampling a bite of each, I'm hooked. Everything was great. Everything! What a jewel to find in the early morning. read more

Called a couple days before my husband's birthday and got a special order of birthday donut letters! Their kolaches are our family's favorite with a sweet dough, and their breakfast egg rolls are to die for. So good!! read more

We came at 12:45 on a Monday after my sons dentist appointment- his heart was set on a red donut. We arrived and the sign said closing at 1:00 so we hurried in. There were no red donuts, unfortunately. The lady offered to go in the back and make my son a red donut and he was SO happy! What wonderful customer service! Thank you again! read more

If I could rate this place ZERO stars I would! This place is horrible! The owner is rude as hell and is in denial that his food is nasty I bit into the sausage & cheese kolache the bottom was wet and soggy I knew it had to be frozen so when I took it back the owner was rude and said to never come back the lady who also works behind the counter admitted that the kolache was indeed FROZEN! Never again coming back here. read more

Was ok, came here because I seen the 5* rating I had a jalapeño sausage and cheese kolache It was really dried out in the center, not much cheese My friend had a boudain kolache and that was really good They didn't have much to choose from, I guess they sold out of stuff earlier because it is in a busy area Giving 4 stars because coffee was good and fresh, my friends kolache was really good, and employee was really nice Maybe next time I will come earlier and they will have more to choose from read more

Very disappointed with the box of donuts today. The donuts tasted like old oil. Unpleasant and unpalatable. Nobody liked them. You could tell they would have been good, had the oil been fresh. Most of the dozen went into the trash untouched. I don't think we'll be back after this. read more

Love this place!! Great staff, super friendly. The old fashioned glazed donuts are great. We also had the sausage, egg and cheese croissants, so delicious. read more

Very cheap, the donuts are really good, it's a donut place and they sell tacos and bacon filled croissants, pretty much anything you could ask for. Haha. Good service, the employee is really nice and talkative but not a fluent English speaker. I think it's great to be able to go buy cheap donuts without having to drive more than a mile while living in sterling ridge. I recommend it. read more

Customer Service is Great! I absolutely love the owners they recognize us all the time and treat us well! Highly recommend this to be the only donut store you go to!! read more

Service was great, there was only 1 lady there and she was very sweet and gave us extra pastries for free since it was near closing. But, my bacon jalapeño kolache had a white thin hair in it. It was actually like in the sausage part so I was really disgusted. The lady was so nice so I didn't bother to complain. Hopefully it is better but I don't think I will be back. read more

maple bacon donut was so good I went back for another haha. service was quick and they were so nice to us. if I wasn't moving I'd be going back every weekend. 10/10 pls try this place read more

This Top Donuts is not only my favorite donut place ever but also one of my favorite businesses in the area. I always feel special when I walk in and the employees already know my usual order (10/10 would recommend the apple fritter). The woman that works there went out of her way to buy my dad's favorite drink when he mentioned that they didn't have it in their cooler. Amazing customer service and delicious donuts. The only downside is that their donuts can be inconsistent in quality, but that just shows that they are made fresh everyday!!! read more

I moved here 5 months ago and I was looking for a shipley donuts but I got lost! I drove this place and was so happy I went in! The donuts are simply amazing! They are light and fluffy and my kids love them! The Customer Service is amazing! Best Donuts in The Woodlands!! read more

Delicious donuts and Kolaches! Highly recommend. Amazing service and very professional. I ordered 3 dozen kolaches and 2 dozen donuts from them for a school event and they were ready on time, and were freshly baked! I will definitely go to them again for donuts and kolaches! read more

Beautiful and delicious selection! Great service. Read the great reviews and decided to try this location to buy donut holes for an event the same evening. The owner went out of her way to make suggestions, combining donuts and donut holes (since most of the donut holes were already sold for the day) . Once we were at the register and she found out it was for a non-profit she went out of her way to add some extras to the box, adding color and variety to the order. She earned my business! This will be my go-to for kolaches and donuts for my family. read more
