I had a toilet installed by Carl Krasavage & Son Plumbing And Heating two years ago. The day of the…read moreinstallation, two guys showed up, which I thought was odd. The younger guy did all the talking and work, while the older guy just stood around and watched. The younger guy was a good salesperson, and against my better judgment, I went with him on an expensive toilet. I didn't know that if two guys come, they charge you for both. The old guy did nothing. Since the toilet was installed, I've noticed some small issues. The plastic is coming off the handle of the flusher, the toilet seat if locked to the seat. What if you want to change it you can't. You may not think this a bother but, if you paid that much you expect better quality.

This is the second time I used Keiper Plumbing. The first time I used them, I was satisfied with…read moretheir work, which is why I called on them for additional work. I called early in the week of 20 April 2026 and asked for an appointment for 1 May with two issues I was having in my home; the earliest I could get was for 8 May. I stated what I needed done: hook up the plumbing in a bathroom and a leak in my basement. I needed to provide my cc information to keep the date reserved. At that time, the office stated their rep would be at my home between 2 and 4 pm on 8 May. During this conversation, they stated they would be there to work on the bathroom on the 8th, and I had to schedule another appointment for the leak; I was dumbstruck. I stated I live three hours away from the house being worked on. They acknowledged this, and this was the reason for the appointment later in the day. I arrived early on the 8th, awaiting the service call. There was no phone call or any attempt to contact me. I called the office during their business hours only to be told the office was closed and to leave a message. The following Sunday, I received a phone call from the owner of the company, and he was very apologetic. He stated he would reduce the estimated cost and that a technician would be there the next day. The technician showed up for the job as stated. I ended up fixing the leak previously mentioned since the company did not provide a follow-up time. When I finally opened the bill, the cost was the same as the estimate. I was not happy. From my perspective, I was I was blantanly given two falsehoods, and it does not sit well with me. I will not be calling on this company for any future services.

The somewhat large storage tank sprung a leak causing a flood in both the basement of our house and the nearby crypt where the tank was located, under the floor. Keiper staff (Scott and Ethan) came promptly, assessed the situation and ordered the items needed to make repairs and replace the large tank with 2 smaller ones. We were out of water only a little over 24 hours. Scott and Ethan, the usual team we have are hard working, efficient, pleasant, neat and courteous. Can't ask for better service. Customer satisfaction is obviously a priority.

Everything Mack installed had to get replaced and redone in 2019. He sold me a 100,000 BTU 96 AFUE unit and after being paid. I was told it was a 80,000 86AFUE unit. To post a lie earns a lawsuit, watch how these facts remain on this site. I did contact the PA Attorney Generals Office and was offered $2,000.00 from the company to make my complaint go away. As I had to replace and redo all at over $5000.00 and had already paid Mack 4700.00 I refused. Who offers 2000.00 when they are correct? No one. Amazing customer service, attentiveness, and overall nice guy. I found Mack through Yelp (thank…read moreyou). When I found that he was local and saw his ratings, I knew I had to try his service at least once. I switched from a bigger company who installed my equipment because it was difficult to get service and I had to speak to 2 or 3 different people to arrange that. I was tired of having to make phone calls, wait for replies and being made to feel that people were doing me a favor by charging me to come out for work. Mack called me back himself within 10 minutes of my message. He "interviewed" me on the phone about the problems I was having. He went to my home, serviced my unit and had it running right away. He also gave me advice and suggestions about keeping it running well. The price was a little cheaper than my previous company, but still within the range for an annual service. I will continue to use Mack because he seemed to care about my home as if it were his. Paying him was the last thing on his mind, he wanted me to be happy first. That's difficult to find; it's a pride of craftsmanship that is lacking in the bigger companies. I will use Mack from now on and you should too.
