The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they made navigating the Y and using the facility seamless. The indoor track is well kept and a great place to run or walk. The weight room has a large amount of equipment and well laid out to accommodate any workout routine. I really enjoyed using this facility, and will use it again if I am in the area.

There are several pieces of equipment with ripped pads. Several of the TV's have been out of commission for as long as I can remember. The main large clock was even wrong the entire time during DST, as apparently they were too lazy to change it. What bugs me more than anything, is I watch numerous people EVERY time I workout that come in and stroll right past the front desk, even when the attendant is standing there (though usually staring at their phones). Am I a sucker for paying for my membership? To me, it looks like half of Wichita uses this place for free. What gives?

However, I'm really disappointed in the customer service and membership handling. I'm currently on my second pregnancy, and for health reasons I was not able to work out for a period of time. I kept my membership going for about three months even though I wasn't attending, and eventually decided I needed to cancel. Because you can't cancel in person, I submitted my cancellation online within their stated cancellation window. By the time they responded, it was already one day past that window. They told me they would refund the next month's charge since I'd been charged anyway. That refund never happened. I had to call three or four times, go back and forth, and still never received the refund I was promised. I've also tried calling on two separate occasions recently and no one answered the phone. In the end, I'm out about $170 for a month I was told would be refunded, on top of the previous months I kept the membership active while unable to use it. I had even told them I planned on coming back once I was cleared to work out again, but this experience has really changed how I feel about the company. The workouts and coaches are truly great, but the way my cancellation and refund were handled has been very frustrating and discouraging, especially as a long-time member and pregnant mom trying to do the right thing.
