What a wonderful shop with an honorable and courteous owner. I came in looking to get a waist button replaced on a pair of pants. The local dry cleaner wanted 2 weeks and $20. This shop did it while I waited and tried to do it for free. He took 10 minutes and provided me a new button so I insisted to pay him for his time and materials. Still "5 Star Service" from this family owned business in the mall. Some of us are built funny with legs that are different sizes from each other and not quite the lengths they sell pants in. This shop has fixed every pair of pants I have purchased for about a decade now and they are all done magnificently. They needed to take length off my daughters dress and add a snap to the cleavage area because it was way to low . It costed like $40 and you pay prior to work being done . When I seen how the top of the dress looked in the cleavage area , it looked like a snap was just randomly added , no measurements for evenness nothing, where it crossed wasn't even straight . I do not think the length of dress was adjusted at all as my daughter still was stepping on it all night . This place had the dress for 3 weeks so it wasn't a rush order , just needed it done correctly. After a couple weeks of this I had to have my dress altered so I used a lady in plain city and she had much more work to do on my dress and it was only $30 and she did an amazing job and it was actually done correctly . read more

Do not go here! Bad service and bad craftsmanship. I had 2 items altered - just taken in a bit - and "Top" Alterations completely failed. When I came in to pick up, they didn't want me to try on the items. When I did, it became clear why. Clothes were still much too big, and had been poorly repaired. Stitching was uneven, seems were bubbly. Odd lumps in skirt, and entire thing was uneven. When I said the skirt was still too big, the man yelled at me, saying he did exactly as it was pinned. I replied that, as pinned, I was worried it would be too tight, but now it was still too loose - could barely see a difference. The notes even said it should be 36 inches, but when I took it home and measured it was over 38. When I asked to have t taken in more, he said no. When I pointed out the weird bubble in the skirt, he said "what do you want me to do about it. I'm very busy." Terrible all around. read more

I dropped off three items to be taken in a week ago. Very simple alterations. I gave him very clear markings on my items. Came to pick them up a week later and he lost them. After us both rummaging through everything I finally found them unaltered laying in the dusty tucked away corner of his work space. Worst experience. Don't use this company. read more

This is the absolute worst tailor / alterations place I have been to. First off I was surprised to have him charge me up front before doing any work. After picking up my suit pants, this surprise made sense as his work was mediocre at best. I had two pair of new suit pants to be hemmed. The stitching was terrible. The hem bunched up and rippled the fabric at the bottom, the hem line was uneven, and to add insult to injury; the thread that showed through was not even close to matching the color of the pants. I would NOT recommend dropping anything worth of value off here. I don't know how this place could stay in business unless it is by the grace of unsuspecting people like me expecting a professional job from an alteration place only to be duped. He also took a week to complete this, dropped off on a Saturday and was told to pick them up the following Saturday at 3 PM. I arrived at 3 to him mentioning that he just barely finished with them...a rushed, hurry up and finish job which was blatantly obvious. read more

I took in a like new Oleg Cassini overcoat to have the sleeves shortened, and the guy did his best. The previous attempt by another tailor had damaged the sleeves, and they couldn't be totally repaired. read more

Its not TOP Alterations! I needed my pants and shirt to be altered. Paid up front, gave me a week for pick up. When I went a week later,he told me to come back at 4pm. I gave him another week since I knew he was busy. I show up, again he asked me to come back later. He gave me the too busy excuse. Nothing was done. Got my clothes, received my credit and was outta there. Horrible service. I definitely won't be back. read more
