Within less than 24 hours, my loved one was admitted and safely beginning medical detox. What truly stands out about Coastal Detox is the combination of professionalism, evidence-based treatment, and genuine heart. This is not a one-size-fits-all program. The care is individualized and holistic, with a strong clinical foundation. Services included medical detox, addiction therapy, trauma-informed therapy, clinical support, DBT, CBT, individual therapy, music therapy, and more all thoughtfully integrated into a personalized treatment plan. After being there 6 days I was told I have to do 30 in detox then I move to mental health house and do 30 there. He knew very well I had only 30 days. The house on their website that's all beautiful on the beach, only holds 6 clients. And the detox house is nasty old rundown apartments with old couches, no table to eat at, nothing on the walls. Just like a frat house. Everyone just sits in their rooms watches tv and eats junk food. Brian from admissions showed up when I became angry that he lied to me about my time there, and he started trying to convince me that doing the program their way was what was right for me. I left and it really screwed me up to have been lied to and shoved into the wrong program just so they could make money They are taking advantage of people with mental illness and people with substance abuse issues by signing them up for programs that do not meet their needs.

The supervising clinician of the place is so awesome, shes very approachable and easy to talk to. In fact if she quit today I would find another clinic. The office itself is clean and the nurses are well trained and capable. The lady behind the front desk is slightly less capable than I would like the front desk person to be she doesn't seem very sure of what she's doing or what's going on how to do her job very well. I'm sure she's a nice person but it takes more than niceties to be the face of a methadone clinic.

But they are quick to not call you when you set up an appointment with them or they call you to reschedule?? What if your thinking of using and you need to talk you your counselor and they call you to reschedule smh. They do not prep you for holidays if you have to show up everyday you better go early they close their doors earlier than what they have on their business hours they will play with your dose they move you up in dose with out you allowing them or down. And if you tell them you have discomfort the tell you to sleep it off. All in all the people at the front desk are pretty cool it's the counselors (Derek) and management the ones who don't seem to care. Try calling the counselor Derek and see if you can understand him on his answering machine when he gives you his personal number 858-bfjdjdhdjdj extension (8!;):$) .... Like any new doctor-patient relationship, it took a few visits to get to know each other. What stood out to me early on is how thorough she is. She asks thoughtful questions, listens carefully, and genuinely works to understand what's going on rather than rushing to conclusions. Is she perfect? No, she is human, but she's about as close to perfect as it gets. She's knowledgeable, practical, and very direct in the best way. She doesn't sugarcoat things, and I appreciate that. If I could be doing better, whether it's exercise or diet, she'll tell me honestly, not to criticize, but because she truly wants me to be healthy and live well. I also appreciate how efficient and communicative her practice is. My lab results are usually available the same day or shortly after through the Sharp app, and she always takes the time at my appointment to review them with me and make sure I understand what they mean. Dr. Liske is clearly very intelligent, and she's supported by a fantastic team. I feel well cared for and confident in the guidance I receive. I've been through the usual physicals, but also more complex issues involving getting ready for surgery and pain issues. Dr. Liske was incredibly thorough and responsive making sure my blood tests were in order to get the green light for a surgery. The office and other nursing staff have been excellent and responsive. I can't recommend this office enough.
