My kids love coming to the dentist. Especially because they have video games and the staff is friendly.

Communication is horrible. Care and diagnosis is sub par…read more Here's what happened: I went to this office because I had a dental emergency where a tooth was suddenly painful and loose. They were good enough to see me very quickly, and as I feared, the tooth needed to be extracted. Everything that day went well. They scheduled me for a cleaning and exam a couple of weeks later. The cleaning seemed to go well, and much to my surprise, I was told my gums and teeth were in good shape. It had been since before Covid that I had been to the dentist, and feared things would be bad. I had 2 cavities, but they filled them, and all appeared well. THIS IS WHERE THE WHEELS CAME OFF THE CART They informed me I would be contacted so their oral surgeon, who does not work in the office regularly, could put a post in for an implant. They never called, so I called them, and communication was horrible. Finally I got a text telling me the date they would do the work. But as that date approached I was never contacted about a time. Twice on the phone they told me they had to send a referral. I finally called the oral surgeon's office, and was told they didn't have a referral, but they squeezed me in on the date I had been told. I called the office at O&A again, and only got an answering service. Told them I needed a referral for the implant, and needed a callback urgently. They never called back. Out of frustration, I contacted a different dental office. They had me come in, and their equipment and processes were more modern and much more thorough. Turns out my concern about my dental health was correct. I had another tooth based on xrays and more advanced imaging, that had a bad infection, and though there was no pain, the bone loss was significant, and that tooth also was loose due to the bone loss. I had suspected this might be a burgeoning issue, but it was missed by O&A. My gums also were in need of some serious maintenance because of the long time having not seen a dentist. So I am having another tooth removed before the infection becomes a serious issue in my jaw, and am finally getting the implant needed from O&A, and am having a scaling and cleaning to help with my gums. I was NOT being over sold by the new office. The X-rays and imaging were very clear in the issues they exposed, all of which were missed by O&A. O&A had also not recommended any antibiotic for my infection, which my new office provided me with. I'm not someone who leaps to use antibiotics, but it was clear they were warranted in this situation. I canceled all future work from O&A last week since I got no call back from the office, and I had found a different office for my oral health. This morning, at 7:20AM mind you (who returns calls before 8AM?) I was awoken by a call from O&A, saying that they had a message I needed to speak with them. I made that urgent request 7 days ago! Avoid this office if possible. The people were all very nice, but their communication and dental expertise is suspect and downright neglectful. Glad I'm in good hands now.

Needing to get a broken front crown fixed, a lot of other dentist offered only an implant as my one and final solution. Feeling pushed into this costly and complicated procedure, I tried Dr. Evans. I'm glad I did. He's nice, makes it easy and offered several solutions that are affordable, less intrusive and a bit easier for me to process!! A bonus is Lisa who is the nicest lady around. She assists and treats those with Braces but she was kind enough to be there with me and make me laugh. Great office, nice staff, easy location. They offer a small discount too if you pay cash which is always helpful.

I wish I could give a zero star. I was a patient of Gary L Evans (of Evans dental) from 2011 and…read morehis successor Alexa Crete from 2023. I am sick to my stomach about what happened. Evans almost ruined my healthy tooth once when he couldn't identity a correct cracked tooth for nearly two years. He ordered a crown on the wrong tooth (opposite) and I barely saved it when I had a dental emergency and saw another dentist. He found the correct one in 30 minutes but it was too late to save. Fast forward to 2023. He pulled the crack idea again on a tooth where he just had a filling (and which had no problems prior to that). After two weeks, I returned for bite sensitivity and he cut it for a crown. Pain became unbearable after that and it was clear that he cut a healthy tooth. He did root canal on top of that to kill my disturbed nerves and said that he would put permanent cement on temp crown for my overseas travel. When I returned, Dr. Evans was gone for an injury and his unlicensed assistant cracked permanently cemented tooth forcefully while the temp dentist was in another room. From that point, it was a joke (you can make a sitcom out of it). They didn't explain what happened and why a newly molded temp crown kept falling every day. Temp dentist after temp dentist, they failed to set a crown due to this idiot's "mistake." By this time Dr. Crete took over and while I appreciated what she did with a post which lasted for nearly one year, she refused to share Dr. Evans' contact so that I can file a claim with him for traumatic tooth loss. She did arrange to release my medical records with my consent to his lawyer. The man's lawyer didn't even get back to me after prying on my protected records. A Redditor told me that their mom worked for Gary Evans for a few years before this happened and there is "serious tea to be spilled" about the family. His lack of integrity and common decency didn't surprise this person. I asked for a discount (waiver of my out-of-pocket expenses) to the new owner so that I can pay for the implant. She said she would discuss it with her financial advisor and didn't honor it. She CHARGED ME FOR THE IMPLANT CROWN THAT HAD BE TO MADE AGAIN DUE TO HER CURRENT ASSITANT'S NEGLIGENCE. Dental assistants are not allowed to deal with permanent cement which irreversibly affects teeth and Dr Crete even acknowledged that when I confronted her. She just told me to move on. I had to transfer my care after that. I am still having nightmares about this incident and cannot sleep at night well. I am not sure in what retail/service industry providers are entitled to continue to charge after injuring customers permanently (and the new manager refuses to contact the retired, old manager about what happened to hold their staff accountable). This was we break and you pay dentistry! Never again! I am so heartbroken. Do not trust this practice. That same assistant who broke my tooth works there. FYI: CO Dental Board is useless in a case like this. They don't hold individual dentists accountable and pay for damages. Lawyer will cost tens of thousands because of their fee and expert witness fees. CHOOSE YOUR DENTIST WISELY AND MIND YOU THAT THEY LET ASSISTANTS DO JOBS THEY SHOULDN'T. DO NOT LET THIS ASSISTANT RUIN SOMEONE ELSE'S TOOTH. SHE GAVE ME $5 STARBUCK'S CARD AFTER SHE DID IT.
