My colleagues and I stopped at Tony's on our way to Santa Fe this past November not knowing what to expect. What we got was very reasonable prices and most of all. the best Mexican food we've had in a long time! The service was swift and pleasant. The restrooms clean. Many locals and I'm sure other travelers were there as well. Fantastic enchiladas! Stop by and you won't be disappointed! read more

Cute small restaurant with friendly, fast service. Has a diner-like feel. We got enchiladas with Christmas chile sauce. They were a little thin (my husband couldn't really taste the cheese in his cheese enchiladas), but still flavorful. The Mexican rice was delicious as well. I got a churro for dessert, which I think was fried to order. It came drizzled in icing and cinnamon sugar, which was super yumz. The churro itself however was a little too hard as opposed to chewy. read more

Greeted by a nice waitress who immediately brought us complementary chips and salsa. This salsa was not too hot, the chips are fresh. We ordered ground beef tacos ala cart & the Chile relleno plate with red & green chile, "Christmas" One of the things I liked about the menu choices, you can order hot, medium or mild chili, in both red and green. I ordered the hot and it was not really all that hot, but good just the same. They offered us a refill on the salsa and chips, and kept the drink refills coming. All in all, a very good visit, I highly recommend. read more

I ordered a barbecue sandwich, it was very good as expected. This place has been here for many years. I'm in my 70s and I remember getting food from this place when I was 14, the lady that received us was so nice. She had a smile, a friendly word and made us feel so welcomed. I'm glad to go to a familiar place, not fancy but with good food and a friendly staff, thank you read more

Favorite Mexican place in New Mexico. Very very good food. Excellent service doesn't get better than Tony's.

Small restaurant with standard Mexican food menu and friendly servers. I had the fajita burrito smothered with green Chile sauce and it was definitely better than Sonic which was my other option in T or C. Not cheap by NM standards as lunch for one was $15 before tip, but I am super full and it was tasty. As other folks have noted, nobody is masked. This is a Sierra County thing --even before vaccinations, in the depths of the pandemic, nobody could bring themselves to mask up. read more

Great food with some spice to it. The place was very busy which shows you that the locals eat here. Small space with tile floors. Interesting pictures of locals early 1900s. The service was friendly and quick. read more

This place is for every casual diner whether you are a local or visiting the area. There is indoor and outdoor seating, while the weather is still pleasant. The food is always good and the service is always friendly. It's located on the border of T or C and Williamsburg. Just look for where all the cars are. Tony owns the restaurant, but his daughter Crystal runs the place (I think). Check it out! read more

I had a quick trip to T or C for a pickup and needed to eat something other than fast food. I took a chance at Tony's, and it was awesome. I had the breakfast burrito, chorizo smothered in green chili. I was sufficiently full. Others in my party had the Huevos Rancheros and a breakfast plate with three pancakes and eggs with bacon. Everything was a hit. What a wonderful surprise. I definitely recommend this establishment. We ate there on a Wednesday around lunchtime, and the place was hopping! We had to dine in their humble patio, no worries. I now see why all the crowd! The next time I'm back, I will try more off the menu! read more

I usually rate Mexican restaurants by the salsa they offer with chips, but Tony's is the first place I've ever wanted to take the salsa home with me!! Can't wait to put some on my eggs!! The girls really make you feel at home. My carne asada burrito was amazing!! The rice & beans had such a delicious flavor, too! We may have to visit Tony's again, on our way out of town. read more

Fantastic food tonight. Been in NM for 5 days and this is by far the most authentic and delicious plates we have tried so far. Large combo enchiladas were amazing. Wow! We were on a road trip, staying in T or C for the night. We happened to stumble upon this place thanks to other Yelpers. Thanks for the recommendation! This place was fantastic! The food was the best we had during our week long road trip. The staff was the KINDEST woman we met along the way. The food was phenomenal! You could tell it was homemade!
