Cute small restaurant with friendly, fast service. Has a diner-like feel. We got enchiladas with Christmas chile sauce. They were a little thin (my husband couldn't really taste the cheese in his cheese enchiladas), but still flavorful. The Mexican rice was delicious as well. I got a churro for dessert, which I think was fried to order. It came drizzled in icing and cinnamon sugar, which was super yumz. Greeted by a nice waitress who immediately brought us complementary chips and salsa. This salsa was not too hot, the chips are fresh. We ordered ground beef tacos ala cart & the Chile relleno plate with red & green chile, "Christmas" One of the things I liked about the menu choices, you can order hot, medium or mild chili, in both red and green. I ordered the hot and it was not really all that hot, but good just the same. They offered us a refill on the salsa and chips, and kept the drink refills coming. I had the fajita burrito smothered with green Chile sauce and it was definitely better than Sonic which was my other option in T or C. Not cheap by NM standards as lunch for one was $15 before tip, but I am super full and it was tasty. As other folks have noted, nobody is masked. This is a Sierra County thing --even before vaccinations, in the depths of the pandemic, nobody could bring themselves to mask up. read more

The food is always good and the service is always friendly. It's located on the border of T or C and Williamsburg. Just look for where all the cars are. I had a quick trip to T or C for a pickup and needed to eat something other than fast food. I took a chance at Tony's, and it was awesome. I had the breakfast burrito, chorizo smothered in green chili. I was sufficiently full. Others in my party had the Huevos Rancheros and a breakfast plate with three pancakes and eggs with bacon. Everything was a hit. What a wonderful surprise. I definitely recommend this establishment. We ate there on a Wednesday around lunchtime, and the place was hopping! We had to dine in their humble patio, no worries. I now see why all the crowd! The next time I'm back, I will try more off the menu! read more

I wasn't impressed. I don't think anything was homemade...maybe the salsa. The tortillas weren't fresh, I ordered carne Asada tacos and the shells weren't even homemade. Pretty disappointing, being that New Mexico Mexican food is supposed to always be good. The refried beans were canned and not salted. I had to salt everything...even the pico! The one thing that was great was the service! Our waitress was great and so were all the other employees...very friendly and helpful. I just wish the food was more flavorful. read more

We asked the locals at riverbend hot springs about which places to eat and no one gave us a definite answer on where to go so we decided to give Tonys a shot. With this place open - I'm surprised there's other restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly, fast and clean. The food came out quick and warm, and everything I ordered was cooked to absolute perfection. The restroom is extremely small but clean, stocked and I felt safe. Fantastic food. My husband had the Carne Asada taco plate and I was tempted to steal one, but my cheese enchiladas kept me busy. I did get a bite and wow. Enchilada sauce was perfect. We liked the salsa so much that we purchased a pint to take home. My only complaint is the waitress and other workers were wearing their masks below their noses. May as well not wear one at all if you don't cover nose and mouth. read more
