She treated me and my husband with the worst customer service ever. Came in looking for a few items, she did not greet us and she was the only employee who saw us come inside (not a big deal). We were walking around and I heard her yelling at an employee that clearly had just started. I mean screaming at him the whole store could hear. Im not entirely sure what it was about but as a manager she should have taken him in the back/office and spoke to him about it. He was at the register and when we came up to the register he greeted us with a smile and was so pleasant. He took off the hangers on a few clothing items we got, during this time the manager was staring at him and hovering over his shoulder. Made me and my husband extremely uncomfortable, I could not imagine being the young man! He was doing great and didn't mess up once. As he was taking off the security things, she pushed him out of the way and started doing it herself and I mean shoved him! He did not do a single thing wrong! My husband and I were so appalled by this. I could just see in the young mans face, he was so embarrassed. Once she took off the security tags, she rung us up, did not smile, rudely said what our total was. Threw our things we just bought in a bag, tossed it on the counter and said "here!". I could not believe what had just happened. I spoke to a few other friends/family that have shopped there and they have had similar experiences with this marina/maria manager lady being rude to them and rushing them out of the store! If I was her boss, I would find a replacement for her. I will NOT be shopping there until she is gone and neither will friends and family of mine.

I am glad to see that Tri State Bait and Tackle has stood the test of time and is still going strong. I stopped here last year multiple times for bait and tackle. TSBT is located south of the 120/69 interchange and the outlet malls. Head south down the road like you are going to Pokagon and look to the west about halfway there and you won't miss it. The building is not huge, but it is all fishing, all the time. They have great prices on bait, tackle is decently priced, and they have some decent sales. Over the last year I have purchased two reels, a new rod, an anchor mount for my john boat, hooks, swivels, fishing line, and some split shots from TSBT as well as crickets, red worms, night crawlers a dozen plus times. I have always had fast, friendly, and attentive service when visiting the store. The staff is knowledgable and gives great advice. No problem recommeding Tri State Bait and Tackle to anyone living in Angola, Fremont, the surrounding lakes, or travelling across the tristate area in search of their next great catch.
