Update (4 stars)*
Location - the store is lovely - see photos. The staff is fond of saying they are in the building BEHIND TJ Maxx. It's a bit misleading because even as a born-here-but-no-longer-officially-a-local - I would think - based on that description - that I need to come in by street running between Home Depot / Golden Coral - then drive past Home Depot & Burger King looking for them. But - in all actuality - if you're coming from I-95 - you hang on a right on Scranton & make a left at the next light (or a left before the light). Stars!
My mugs turned out great - the print quality is wonderful. More stars! (Quick note - the wrap doesn't cover 10" of the mug - like online vendors Zazzle & Vistaprint - it covers 8" more like mall kiosk printing - so your image or text is not super close to mug handle - see photos - not deducting a star for this - just a note.]
When I entered the store - the cute, blonde young lady was checking out another patron, but she acknowledged my presence & let me know she'd be with me in just a moment. Even more stars!
I'm deducting a star because - I found them via Google search but beforehand, I'd messaged contacts at the local Publix & FLETC (asking where 2go for custom printing). When I heard back from both (Friday) they both suggested Tonya's & Sally's, but when I mentioned that I'd already contacted Tonya's & I was paying a rush fee for the mugs - they BOTH said they routinely had mugs printed same day or next day (to be clear - sublimation - not vinyl) without a rush fee - so I'm a little bummed about that **& & the wonderful, helpful associate that took care of the printing - completed the work in 30 minutes on Friday afternoon - thanks to some glitch phone & email stuff - so I'm not sure why original associate told me the process takes 'some days' & not sure why I was charged a rush fee.
As I said in my previous review - this is not vinyl lettering - this is permanent / sublimation - but it's the same process used at circuses, fairs, mall kiosks the world round. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that I was in a bind & absolutely needed them by Monday.
Maybe more training about pricing and hours - would make for a better customer experience. Overall - still highly recommend.

(5 stars) WOW! How have I never heard of this place before?
I was 'stuck' in town thanks to the Hurricane Michael - & I needed to have some custom mugs printed last minute for an upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness event. For this type of printing - I typically use online vendors like Zazzle, Vistaprint, CustomInk or - I go to mall kiosks where you can get custom printed mugs & t-shirts at prices starting at $9.95. I called Sally's Cop Shop & they weren't able to help me because 1) they have a minimum order of 70 mugs & 2) the turnaround time was 10 - 14 business days.
So I was thrilled to have discovered Tonya's Treasures. I called the Brunswick location & both Sara & Tonya were sweet, knowledgeable & bent over backwards to try to accommodate my last minute needs. I needed ceramic mugs with sublimation.
They have a website & 3 brick & mortar locations (Brunswick, St Simon's & Jekyll) & they close at 6pm* most days. They have lots of cute t-shirts & they offer Charles River apparel. They customize lots of stuff - not just mugs & t-shirts so give them a call to discuss options.
I definitely recommend you stop by if you're in the area.
*When I called initially (on Thu) I was told that the sublimation takes 'a long time' & when I asked for clarification / specifics - they said it takes 'several days.' Rep went on to say that the person who does ceramic & t-shirt printing was off on Saturdays. I was disappointed, but Google said St Simon's location closed at 10pm - decided to try my luck there. When I called St. Simons location, I immediately asked rep if they were open until 10. Rep sounded shocked & amused - but told me - adamantly - that 'they close at 6pm & have never stayed open that late ... not sure why Google would show that,' I told her that was fine & explained that I needed my printing done by Sunday because I'd be driving back to metro-Atl on Sunday & needed items by Monday morning at 8am. The associate said 'all the sublimation & custom printing is handled at the Brunswick store . . . it shouldn't take THAT LONG.' She further advised me to call the Brunswick store back - so I did.
At this point, I actually was able to talk to Tonya & she told me they could definitely take care of it - YAY! - and that mugs were $19.95 each, but they might have to charge me a 'rush' fee if I needed it by Sunday. I told her to get back with me regarding the rush fee (because ultimately - my client has to be okay with the total price & I don't upcharge or mark-up on stuff like this). read more
