Anthony's a pro, from the extreme responsiveness to the request for a quote to the thoughtfulness of the questions when he toured our house to the crew that he brought onsite. His team was on time, professional, and as low profile as 3-4 total strangers can be when painting multiple rooms of your house over several days. And best of all, their work was flawless, even spending time at the end of last day to sweep and tidy. We'll use again in the future for certain.

Would definitely recommend them & would hire again for future projects

I could not agree more with Serena's review from 2020 - we had the exact same experience. I…read moreresonate with her review and quote "All was going well and he seemed to know what he was talking about but then I asked him to email his quote to a second email address and it was downhill from there. He huffed and puffed about cc'ing a second email so god knows what he would be like on the job if he had to do something mildly inconvenient. I was completely baffled how this man turned into a child before my very eyes." All of the contractors I've dealt with with the exception of Beauty Walls - have enjoyed back and forth communication, and being very communicative and clear. Sviat literally told us "I'm not in the communications department" on one of his bad days where he was 'inconvenienced' by having to respond to our emails and requests. He rage deleted our project from his system, and when we asked him about it he said that he let his emotions get the best of him and shouldn't have done it in the moment (see more later). Dealing with him and his business delayed our move in date by a month. A prime example of communications with him will be ie - send email Monday, no reply, we follow up Wednesday, then he replies, then we respond within minutes to hours, and have to follow up again Friday for an update. We were going to try to make it work with him - since he did our floors for another property many years ago and went without hiccup. He emailed us (this is copy and pasted: " I made a mistake deleting that estimate, I started again and I'm not able to overcome my emotions. Sorry I can't do your floors. There are good companies on Yelp.com or Angi.com with trustful reviews. We can do painting for you after the floors are done" I would recommend this business if you are ok dealing with this unprofessionalism and childlike behavior As soon as we moved onto quotes from 2 other businesses, WOW night and day. Very communicative, no babysitting and having to follow up for responses, and even more - wow no complaining about having to communicate?! Bonkers. Such a horrible experience, when I really wanted to initially support an independent family business.

I choose J&N Painting Services to paint my kitchen, foyer and upstairs bathroom in my home. I took…read morethe time to research and allow several painting services to assess my job and provide estimates. As you could imagine the estimates were all over the place; but two companies stood out. I appreciated when the people who were providing me estimates were the same people who would be doing my job. They made me feel at ease with their broad knowledge and uncanny ability to judge the number of paint cans needs for each area by sight alone. Both of my top choices were within $100 with their estimates and used top quality Sherwin-Williams paint. I ultimately went with J&N Painting Services and am so glad I did. Nick was 'no pressure' when I was making my decision for my home improvement. There was full transparency with his company. When I asked him for a copy of his painting licenses and certificate of liability insurance he responded right away. Again, J&N Painting Services made me increasingly more comfortable with giving them my business. My job turned out to be a monster of a project for J&N Painting Services; but Nick, Jon and the rest of their team worked tirelessly without an impact to the bottom-line estimate. They fixed severe tape damage in all of the areas we agreed to paint. There was even a point were Nick had to get to my attic to reinforce my bathroom ceiling drywall. They explained to me why I was able to see my ceiling beams in my kitchen, via discoloration, and sealed / painted it the right way as to prevent the discoloration from coming back. The same attention to detail was exhibited while painting my bathroom ceiling. They put the right paint on to be able to handle the moisture in that punishes that ceiling every day. Finally, going back 10 years ago when we had wallpaper taken down from the entire house, there was leftover crackling of the paint in our upstairs hallway. J&N Painting Services knew exactly why that happened and gave me a full explanation. They took the time to sand and seal the entire hallway so the new paint would glide on. Perfect! I would recommend J&N Painting Services for all you painting needs.
