This is a very poor garage. While for tyres and exhausts they might be cheap, for MOTs they really rip you off. In particular creating extra work where none is required. My car ended up leaving the garage in a worse state than when it went in. read more

I agree with all of previous reviews, failed things that had passed MOT the week before, I feel deliberately trying to run up the bill

They said they'd ring me to confirm what work needed doing after having a relatively annoying squeaking noise. Never heard back from them had to go back myself to see if anyone had a look at it. They had and done the work without even telling me! They replaced supposedly the fan belt, 1 week later the problem is back again and they charged me £42 quid! Would not recommend I certainly wont be going again especially as this is not the 1st time they have done the work without telling me before hand when I have asked them to ring me 1st! read more

Magic tyre fairies! I spoke to them this morning asking about coming to repair a Tyre, as other places had said they couldn't do it until tomorrow. Also gave them my partner's number as we were both at work. I didn't answer when they rang back so they rang my partner. he sorted it all out with them and i returned home to a repaired tyre all fitted back on the car. Happy thank you. read more

Must have the most irritating reception staff of all the garages I have eer visited in 60 years of motoring. Expensive for what they are. The clowns in the reception area should be sacked patronising and incompetent. read more

I agree completely with bakedbeans03 and wish I'd read their review first before going. Took car for (very expensive comparitively) mot, and they rang to tell me it had failed at 11 o'clock. I asked for a quote for the work and was told theyd ring back. They didnt. I rang twice to no avail. Even when I picked the car up at the end of the day they still didnt have a quote for me. When they did produce one they told me that the brakes needed doing (were only replaced earlier in year by another garage) and that wing mirror needed replacing. It took several attempts to ascertain why the latter as they just kept saying "because it failed". Felt like screaming in the end. Can only presume they talked to me like that because I was a woman. Anyway, in end I phoned another garage for a quote on the work they said needed doing, which came in at signifacantly less than tanvic had quoted for even with another mot put on top of this. When did have it retested at another garage found that half the work didnt need doing afterall - including the brakes. Final bill inc a 2nd mot was less than half of tanvic.
