    3 Deep-Fried Tacos

Ordered 2 shredded beef hard shell tacos and 1 potato hard shell taco -- must say they were pretty fire & not that expensive ($10 for 3) The service was good, the tacos were good, the only thing that could have been better were the salsas, they weren't that spicy. Overall, would fs come back!!

Very clean restaurant. Colors are smart and not LOUD. And, so is music is quiet and pleasant. TV plays low. Coffee is amazing! Try the potatoes tacos! Breakfast churizo plate is best!!! $3 cheaper than Brandon's next door in same parking lot. Service is attentive, too.

The women working the restaurant are welcoming and warm! The burrito was served fresh and seasoned so well! The first order of chips is complimentary then an additional $1 for each serving. My friend said the beef tacos weren't anything special but the salsa was very good!

Walking in we noticed it was very clean. Menu pictures are posted on the wall and they also have digital screen menus. Ordered at the counter then found our seats. There's a good amount of tables for small or larger groups. Right off Magnolia Inside a little strip of eateries. Parking may be limited during rush hours. You can order ahead for pick up if you're pressed for time. Good service. The burritos we had were satisfactory. The red salsa had a nice spice I enjoyed it. Meal comes with one salsa. There's an extra charge for another. On the other hand the verde sauce tasted similar to canned so stick to the red it's delicious.

My friends live nearby and are HUGE fans of this establishment. They are both regulars and the employees recognize them. It was heartwarming to see how friendly the staff were with them. When you dine-in you get chips and salsa for the table. The chips are crisp and the salsa has a kick to it. I ordered the al pastor burrito because my friend said it was the best al pastor he's ever had. The burrito is simple, but I agree that the al pastor is very tasty and the salsa is great!

Came on Father's Day me and my family were waiting at another establishment waiting for our turn to be seated after about 45 minutes. I lost my patience of waiting around so I jumped onto Yelp and found Tony's Mexican grill best decision I made because the food is absolutely delicious small place but clean good service and delicious food Looking forward to coming back and trying out other items on the menu.

Ask the Community - Tony’s Mexican Grill

    Is there anything vegan/vegetarian friendly?

I know they have a delicious soup called the Fidel with broth and small tiny noodles and I'm sure there are salads, but specifically anything totally vegan or vegetarian I'm not sure, I would call them or simply just go in and ask they are very nice…

Do you serve posole on Sunday's?

    Yes they do and Saturdays

Is this restaurant owned by the same people Tonys on Magnolia in Riverside California?

It is not owned by the same people. I think this place is not getting the traction and support it should be getting because people think it is associated with another "Tony's". I have never been to the "other" place and I don't think I ever will…

Is this restaurant owned by the same people as Tony's in Crestline?

No, we are Tony's Mexican Grill completely new and separately owned.

Location is near Mission Inn on Main Street. Price is on the higher end so plan to pay an average of $30/person. The only thing that was a bummer for us was the loud music for lunch hour experience. The music was loud and made me think it would be best for a club atmosphere? Maybe it was just me but I felt anxiety eating because the music was so upbeat and loud. Music is a big part of the eating experience. I know some people may be fine with it. For example, we had breakfast at Tio's Taco and the music was spot on for the dining experience.

The meal started off strong with their chips and salsa--super fresh and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the chicken fajitas. While they were cooked properly, I wish they had a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. My wife had the enchiladas divorciadas, which were beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the filling was a bit cool. She probably should have sent it back, but since we were in a hurry, we didn't bother. On the positive side, my daughter had the carne asada burrito, and she said it was excellent. Service started off great with our younger male waiter being very attentive at first, but it slowed down significantly as our meal went on. By the end of our visit, I actually had to go up to the register to ask to pay. It was lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, so this felt a bit out of the ordinary. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Morena's Mexican Cuisine another try, as it may have just been an off day. The chips and salsa, along with my daughter's burrito, showed that they definitely have what it takes to impress. I'll reserve final judgment after my next visit!

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

First time coming to the restaurant for all of us. The ambience was cool and I liked the fact that they made the tortillas fresh. The food was cool I guess. My grandmother got the chicken fajitas but there were no bell peppers with it, just onions. The tamale was mid. My Dad and myself ordered a basic bean and cheese burrito. I did not like the fact that it wasn't mentioned that the beans are made with bacon until AFTER we received our food! My dad doesn't eat meat and the rice is made with chicken as well. The server did bring him something else but this needs to be stated on the menu or upon ordering! We were sat right next to where they made the tortillas and can see them being made since they had glass windows around it. However, there was one gentleman that was making tortillas who was on his cell phone texting or whatever CONSTANTLY at the same time while doing this. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Also, maybe give the option of meatless beans and rice for the non-meat eaters
