It's like Christmas, every dish is a surprise! We were…read moreseated inside immediately and approached rather quickly for our drink order / to ask any questions. Beyond that, nothing happened very quickly, or accurately. We ordered chips & guacamole (+$3 for guacamole, instead of salsa), received chips & salsa ($8) , tho they did bring guacamole. We ordered wild mushroom pizza & they brought bacon pizza. They no longer had dry hopped sour so they gave me a tropical fruit beer. All of the mixed drinks I tried were too sweet & a fruity beer does not fill in well for a sour lover, it wasn't that anything was bad, it just wasn't what we ordered & it took 2hrs for pizza & chips. I do love the layout & decor throughout. There are both standard tables & hightops, as well as patio seating. They just need to work out the kinks, like, giving you what you order.

IT IS A STEAKHOUSE THAT DOES NOT HAVE STEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more Really? Arrived at the restaurant after a quick read of the menu online. Assumed that a steakhouse would have steak - so I only skimmed the menu for lasagna. My husband wanted steak - no brainer - it's a steakhouse right? OH NO - "How do you call yourself a steak house and have NO STEAK!!!" But it gets better, we were given a 35 minute wait time, which is fine, but in reality it was 55 minutes. Fine Get the brown bags back to the hotel - no napkins- no cutlery - no salt and pepper. A steakhouse with no steak?

Went there on November 16th 2019, it was my cheating day, so I went for buffet. I also ordered some…read morecalamari on the side. The pizza in the buffet are very good, cheese are high quality, ingredients are fresh, the crust cook just right, not too dry but fully cooked. All the sauce in the pizza taste like made in that hour, seasoned well and you just know it is house made not in a can like most pizza buffet. The desert pizza was something I never had but loved the first bite. perfect pizza dough with fruit filling. Those fruit filling are either house made or some super great quality fillings, they are not too sweet but very fruity and had a nice consistency. The salad bar has some good vegetables and pasta salad, pickles, olives and such, everything was fresh and really well seasoned like the pizzas. The soup was an other high light, beef and barley soup has more beef than most beef stew you can find in other restaurant, the French onion soup was as good as some thing you would order by itself. The calamari was nice, crispy outside and tender inside, nice dipping sauce, thin and well spiced batter, beautiful colour. The calamari itself is as fresh as you can get in Alberta. The only down side I will say about the buffet would be lacking of any other things other than pizza, soup and could salad, some cheese and crackers or appetizers would be a great addition, but that being said, I am happy with what I got. Just not mind blowed by the selections has been offered. Quality over quantity, I'd rather have great things than a lot of things, but a lot of good things never hurt. I would pay more for more food, like deli meat or cheese. The staffs were friendly and helpful, environments are clean and welcoming. The interior was a bit dated but everything are so comfortable and clean so I really did not mind. The price was good, not cheap but still reasonable, two of us spend 50+ dollars with three dishes and buffets. I will suggest for family dinner and such.

June 18,2025 Argos recently changed Management so good time…read morefor a review. It's been one of my top picks to eat at so when I heard of the change was thinking uh oh. I had lunch there yesterday and dinner today. I was pleasantly surprised, the menu hasn't changed but the food/service has improved...how often has that happened lately? :) I think Argos has a good ambiance for the slightly more mature customer. I like how good staff is with elderly customers and they always try to meet their needs. Be gentle with the young waitresses, it's probably their first job and they always try their best but maybe a bit shy at first. The kitchen staff seem to have things well under control. No long waits or out of any items. In short, it's not a fancy high end restaurant rather a family diner that offers a delicious full course meal for the price of a Big Mac combo.
