Went second time even…read morethough the first wasnt perfect as wanted to give the stylist a chance to get to know the client. You make an appointment for a hair cut. You get there, talk to stylist who you expect than to decide which way to achieve a discussed outcome. You end up with some dry hair chop here and there lasting 5 minutes and hair cut short in exactly opposite places to where you wanted. Not sure if stylist had a bad day or decided that I do not look like someone who cares what my hair looks like. Either way, though I have never ever done it before I am gonig to phone and pass on my comments :( Very likely not all stylists are the same there and I hope the others do make effort to keep a new customer returning.

I have been going to Cutting Edge to get my hair cut and coloured for many years now. I did try…read moresome other places, but went back to Cutting Edge because it is really friendly and welcoming. I always have the same hairdresser and she is great. All the girls are really chatty and it is great to have a chat while having your hair done. They really put you at ease and make you feel welcome. My hair is always done just how I want it and it doesn't take them forever either. I always get offered magazines and a drink while my colour is setting and am taken care of. The salon is not huge, but is a decent size and modern looking. They keep up with the times and latest trends too. The prices do seem to keep going up and it is a bit expensive, although not as pricey as some other places in Rushden, but I go here because I trust them to do a good job with my hair and it is an enjoyable experience.
