This is a follow up to my first 5 star review of Andrew. First of all I took away one star. This…read morehad nothing to do with the quality of his work or the work of his helper. He went over and above my estimate of pics to be hung. Also he installed the 30 handles I had purchased. I did miscalculate the amount of handles needed. It needed two more for the guest bathroom. I asked if when I received the handles if he would mount them as well as hang two small pics that were missed. He told me that would not be a problem. I contacted him when the items arrived and he said he would work me in. He did not work me in. I contacted him again and he was apologetic and said he would work me in again (paraphrasing) which so far he hasn't. It has been almost two months and I decided to update my review rather than contact him again. I firmly believe that in the customer services business which Andrew's company obviously is, I have found that the proof of whether a company provides world class service or does not is usually not in the initial job but mostly in the follow up when commitment to ones word becomes paramount. Not every job goes as planned. The companies I pick who live up to their own commitment continue to get rewarded by other paying jobs. This job was a be back type. No remuneration just a small business owner standing up for his own word. If he felt he needed to get paid a trip charge he did not express it to me. Personally I think the man does excellent work and it took me two months to publish this follow up. I am not judging here, but when a vendor tells me he will do something I firmly believe he should follow up and do what he'd committed to do rather than Ghost the customer. Jerry

No response and after several days I called again. He responded by text and said he had to take a few personal days. An appointment was set for him to come give us an estimate and he did send that after our first meeting. At that appointment some additional plans were discussed and another appointment set. This time he didn't show up, didn't call and didn't text. I sent two text to him asking if he was coming and no response. We had plans for the day and we were left waiting and wondering. On my third message I told him he had already had two red flags previously by responding several days after I had called and this was the second issue of not showing and that I could not work with undependable and we were done. Then he finally responded and said he got hung up building a swing set! That's very unprofessional. No I would not recommend him, he seems to work when he wants to as some previous reviews on Yelp have had the same issue. In his defense he seems to be a very nice guy, but I wasn't hiring a nice guy.

No one even came close to matching their price. And the integrity of just dealing with Bryan and his brother, was top of the chart. A+ Always quick to answer any questions. He would text us if he was running a few minutes behind, or letting us know time wise where we were. He was so patient, professional and friendly. Bryan and Jayson worked long and hard. I can't stress enough all the labor that went into these 30+ year old cabinets, prepping and painting. My kitchen was well protected and they took extra care to protect the appliances, as well. They were prompt to correct any issues that came up. And the final results speak for themselves. Highly recommend and we will use them again!

So I bought a new exterior door from Lowe's like a confident grown adult... then immediately…read morerealized I have zero idea how to install a door and zero desire to learn on YouTube . I checked handyman apps but the whole "hourly rate" thing felt like a financial gamble because who knows how long a door takes?? I hit up my neighborhood app and called a few neighbors and that's how I found Handy Randy's General Contracting -- and listen... just call Randy first and save yourself the spiral. Randy was energetic, professional, and ready to get me in SAME DAY (who even does that anymore??). The install was done by Francisco and Dennis and these guys were on it. Communication was solid -- I knew when they were coming, no guessing games. I work from home and told Randy I had a 1pm meeting. The crew walked in and Francisco goes, "Hey I saw in the notes you have a meeting." Sir... organization AND respect for my schedule?? Already impressed. They got straight to work, I jumped on my meeting, and about an hour later -- boom -- beautiful new exterior door like I suddenly have my life together. Price was right. Work was clean. No drama. No mess. No headaches. Quick, professional, and efficient -- exactly how I like my home projects handled. Do yourself a favor -- call Randy first and skip the trial-and-error phase with other companies.
