There aren't very many shopping options in Mammoth. I was going to pass by Tonik bc their branding (logo etc) looks like a smoke shop, pretty psychedelic, if you know what I mean. Boy, am I glad I stopped here. They had some stuff that was lumberjack-chic, but lots of things that weren't. I tried on a lot of things, ranging from Z Supply loungewear (someday I'll pull the trigger on those, they are sooo luxurious), cute bralettes, structured tops, tee shirts, flowy dresses, athleisure. Great shopping experience. Quick edit after reading other reviews. There was only one employee working when I went in, super sweet young woman. There were a couple other customers who came in while I was shopping and she assisted everyone. read more

Fabulous store the second I walked in. I was actually looking for this store in the Village, but was sad that it was gone. But 11 years later, it is still kicking just in a new location. I am so excited it has survived. So I was carrying some items from a different store as I entered and this fabulous clothing store worker named Andrea gave me a bag right away, even though I hadn't bought anything yet. She was helpful finding clothes for my teenage daughter and helped me pick out just the perfect present for my friends birthday. Highly highly recommend this boutique. Prices are reasonable! Went In with my daughter to find shoes so she could go horseback riding because she forgot shoes. she tried on a pair she liked but they didn't fit correctly, we tried a few sizes and the verdict was her feet were too wide. I gave the girl back the shoes and said thank you. She came up to us and said "we have some second hand shoes that aren't as pricy" the price WASNT the issue her foot width was. Just went in to the store. Man was it uncomfortable. The two older ladies that were working there followed my friends and I around the store as if we were going to steal something. Really cool little shop we found on our off Saturday during a week of snowboarding out in Mammoth. Unlike pretty much everything else in the village at Mammoth, this place has a great unique feel of a small time boutique. My wife found a great top here and another simple Mammoth t shirt. I loved the couches inside and the staff was really friendly. Great find on our trip and gave us a chance to bring home a couple cool souvenirs of our trip. read more

Fabbo boutique for fun tees, designer denim, flirty fundies, a decent selection of outerwear, and really great hand-made jewelry. I sometimes avoid this store because of the damage it will inflict on the Amex. Last time in I was thrilled to see bikinis on the racks during snowboarding season. Sometimes you forget to pack the bikini for the hottub and a lot of places don't stock them just because it's winter. The clothes are nicely merched and everything is kept on the racks or cubbies rather neatly. I like shopping in a clothing store that doesn't have stuff shoved all messy like. This has more to do with the people than their merchandise. Just about got ran off the road by the owners (or at least someone driving a totally company branded car) while towing our trailer on our way to mammoth. She decided she needed to be in front of us and got right next to our trailer then flipped off my husband. Lovely darling. Well won't be frequenting your store on our vacation. Tonik - Women's Clothing Near Me - Mammoth Lakes, California

This place has ok clothing. However the staff are rude and not friendly at all. I came in to try on a bathing suit and I LITERALLY heard them talking trash and laughing about me while I was in the dressing room. I'll spend my money elsewhere. I live in a touristy area myself and I understand how tourists can be annoying. But it is never ok to make someone feel bad about their size. You don't know what someone is going through. read more

Tonik is a favorite local clothing store for both me and my girlfriend. Living 3 hours from a major city, it is nice to have a store that offers quality clothing and accessories. This place deserves the top rating. What an amazing fashion store in little Mammoth Lakes, it has some of my favorite brands (like Free People) and a great selection. The owner knows how to pick out the cutest stuff from any collection, suited for the varying climate in this Region. Been here 3 years ago during my pre yelp period. This place has stylish clothing. Prices are a bit high, but you would expect that in a ski resort town. I bought a hat there today which was more than what I would spend ordinarily, but it's the only one in town that matched a top I bought earlier in another store down in town. If you really need a nice top or willing to spend $168 dollars for a pair of jeans, def this is the spot for you. You can get bits and pieces for less. I bought a unisex fragrance 3 years ago that I just loved because it smelled so clean. They still sell that same line and the price is reasonable far as fragrance goes. The staff is friendly and willing to help you find something in particular if they have it. Even if you don't buy anything here, you can check it out anyway. They have a small children's section as well and offer ski wear too, not just stylish daily attire. read more

The one thing I wanted to add after wearing all the clothes I purchased is that they all have this very strong smell of incense. It is so strong that the smell would not go away even after washing (I use unscented detergent.) I wish they wouldn't burn incense in the store as I think it would turn people who have sensitive noses away from the store. read more

Loving the new and improved location of Tonik next to the Von's center on Old Mammoth Road. The space shows off all the trendy cute clothes and I can spend a couple hours there easily. it's definitely one of my favorite stores thanks to its variety of brands for different needs.
