She knows her products, and is one of the few stylists who has been able to tame my double cowlick. She even helped recover my daughter's hack job when she took a pair of scissors to her own hair at school. We have never had Nancy cut our hair, but have seen great results and highly satisfied clients coming out of her chair. Amethyst Studio is easy to get to, only a few minutes from the highway. I don't like blow drying my hair because I usually end up with a headache due to the high heat and rough pulling of my hair. This time, I did not experience any of this. I have natural black hair and used to be blonde for 5 years before going back to my natural color in 2021. I've been wanting to do something with my hair but didn't want the damage and maintenance of having blonde hair again so we went for partial highlights. Anna listened to what I wanted and gave some suggestions and it turned out beautifully! I've lived in Orlando for 1.5 years and haven't really tried to find a salon for color/highlights but I WILL be back to see her in the future. She was so friendly and professional and the vibe of the salon was similar. For my services, the total came out to $155 (which was way better than I expected!) highly recommend her and this salon and can't wait to be back in the future!

First time here, and I am definitely making more visits to come here! Came here to support my…read morefriend, Donny (and this is not a biased review, just because he is my friend) and let him do his magic to my hair. When I first walked in, my first impression of the salon was how clean it was and Donny's station was so organized and neat (an ocd dream!). Something I admired a lot. I really liked that he explained everything he was going to do to my hair in details, such as texture, cut, style, and what products/recommendations would make my hair look and feel good. He also took his time, didn't rush, was very patient, and did an awesome job to my hair! It feels so healthy and really wants to make sure not only you are happy as an overall client, but that the hairstyle you wanted is what he achieved for you. Which he of course did! I could not stop playing with my hair and the products he used made my hair super soft! I forgot the name of them, but if you don't mind splurging in hair products, do yourself a favor and buy it! Donny definitely knows what he's doing, he's smart, informative, and very passionate about what he does. He definitely did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him!

I had been wanting to try one of these places since I had seen them on social media and a friend of…read moremine had been to one and highly recommended it. To get the time and date that I needed to receive the Welcome Package took time to book out, as the services take a couple of hours. I completed a questionnaire online prior to my appointment that had questions about how I was feeling, diet and water intake, how often I wash my hair, what is my hair type, etc. From that questionnaire, a profile is created based on my answers and compiled into a report that includes my dosha - which represents my body's natural state of equilibrium. The report included recommendations for hair and skin care, foods to avoid and to prefer, hair and scalp analysis (with close up photos of before and after), shampoo recommendations and vitamins/oils for hair and scalp care. I felt the report was very insightful and felt spot on (foods I was told to avoid were ones I either didn't like or gave me indigestion!) and I learned a lot from the stylist, Aris. A mixture of natural oils were warmed and applied all over my scalp and was then massaged in. A custom hair mask was applied and then a steam set for about 15 minutes. This was followed by several washings and more massages with tea tree and other aroma therapy - it was a heavenly experience! The end includes a Dominican blowout and styling and another close up look of your scalp and hair follicles after the treatment. My hair and scalp has never felt better (I have sebherric dermatitis and this was great) and I look forward to including the recommendations from True Crown Head Spa to continue improving my hair and skin health! I will also be incorporating the other treatments recommended every 8-10 weeks for maintenance and part of my self care regimen! The spa is in a strip mall type complex with ample parking and next to a Wawa on Aloma Ave. Very private and you are buzzed into the spa from the inside. If you're looking to learn more about your hair and scalp health and your dosha reading, check out this place and see Aris!

She went through the color and cut and the end result was amazing. I am very happy with my hair and will definitely return to her in the future.
