He was attentive and extremely responsive from the very beginning. The best part was he knew about some properties before they were even formally listed so having the inside track in this seller's market was the key to our success. We never felt rushed through the process even though houses sell so fast around here. He seemed to have the paperwork ready almost immediately whenever that time came and he walked us through every step of the way and gave us great advice. Even though our first home fell through due to the sellers changing their mind, he was lightning fast at responding and finding us an even better place. He some how made one of the most stressful times in someone's life an enjoyable experience! The neighborhood we wanted was farther out than most and Tyler never hesitated to meet up and show us a home immediately even though it was over a 40-minute drive for him. I will definitely use him for any future home purchases as he went above and beyond what we expected. Even his service after the sell is excellent. He's called to check on us after the storms and he's helped us anytime we needed to arrange a service provider or had additional questions. He is truly a gem and of excellent quality. I can't wait to work with him again!

I have rented an apartment for 4 years with no missed or late payments, and I make six figures ($7956 per month) more than 6 times the monthly rent for this house ($1250) I talked to these people about how I have a lower credit score since I am young and its not that I have bad credit I just don't have much. I have never had any complaints from anywhere I have ever rented in the past and I have even been referred to as a landlords dream. However when these people saw a lower credit score they immediately disapproved me. I would think that if the owner's of the property knew that I had been disapproved simply for a lower credit score because or little to no credit they probably would not be happy, and the company refused to even contact the owners about my disapproval. I would no recommend using this company to rent your house simply because of the lack of communication w/ the owners. after dealing with these people I actually found a better property for the same price and was approved with no problems and we are moving in there at the end of the month, so in a way i think by disapproving me they actually helped me out.

We used ChuckTown Homes to do both! We met with our buyer's agent, Andrea, to discuss all of our wants/needs in regards to a new house. She promptly got us set up on a portal to begin mapping out where we wanted to be and for houses to be tagged for us within our budget. She was prompt in getting back to us with any questions and with setting up viewings. When it came to negotiations with the sellers of the home we wanted, so was very proactive! Our buyer's agent, Matt, was just as great! We set up an appointment for him to view our house to discuss what we think we can sell for (as well as why, including other homes in the area that were comparable). He advised us on how to have the home set up for photos and how to have things done for showings. He was able to help us navigate toward good offers and ones that seemed like they wouldn't be a good fit. He was prompt in getting back to us via text, email or even by phone when needed. We really appreciate all of the hard work they put into making the transition of selling and buying our homes easier on our family. We would highly recommend them for your buying or selling needs.

We were house hunting in Portland and had several bad experiences with brokers. Now we understand why - we thought they were representing us but they were really trying to represent both sides. Chuck was AMAZING! He helped us understand why his service was different and what we weren't getting from our other brokers. Chuck and I had tons of communication before our move - speaking many times over the phone and exchanging emails. He put a lot of prep work into our trip by reviewing our wish list, discussing his process with us and educating us about the Charleston market. Once we arrived in Charleston, we hit the ground running. Chuck helped us narrow down our neighborhood of choice with a tour of absolutely every nook and cranny of Mt. Pleasant. He was part agent & part tour guide. We drove by or saw every, and I mean EVERY, house that matched our criteria. We made an offer and once again, Chuck went to bat for us making sure we got the best possible deal and looking out for our interests, even when the seller wanted to take the curtain rods after we had a signed contract. His network of closing lawyers and mortgage lenders is deep - make sure you see Michelle Long at Homeowner's Mortgage - and that really is the icing on the cake. We eventually decided to stay in Portland but we will certainly miss the opportunity to work with Chuck. He's set the bar awfully high...
