It's upstairs from the main (very touristy) shop, and the ladies section (which is where I visited) features name brand clothing, an amazing selection of shoes, accessories, jewelry, and all sorts of cool stuff. I could have spent hours (and much, much money) here if only I had extra room in my cruise suitcase. Alas, I was only browsing. The staff was friendly and super helpful, too. A woman on the cruise ship had told me about this place, and that she liked to call ahead and the shop staff would pull outfits for her to try on - wow, talk about service! Prices were a bit high, but that's to be expected in Alaska. When I return to Ketchikan on my next cruise, I'll definitely stop here (and plan to bring an extra suitcase along too)!

I don't recall the young woman's name who helped me, but I specifically mentioned I was looking for native-made earrings for my mother in law and she showed me a few options. She also gave me the background of the jewelry maker and I ended up buying three pairs. The value was also excellent for authentic, one of a kind pieces. She did mention that we should do all of our shopping in Ketchikan, and I didn't listen as it was our first port. I should have listened! I regret not buying more there.

However, shipping is another story. They charged our credit card for the items and we were told they will charge again for the shipping charges after they mail the package. Our card was charged on 8/14 for shipping. It has been 2 weeks now since they charged us for shipping. I do not know how long it takes for a package to arrive from Ketchikan to Kansas but at least we should have been given a track number to track it. I tried 4 times today to call their phone number but no one answers and there is no website or email to send them a message unless i am missing something. I just received the package today. You need to be patient if you request that they ship to you.
