So I was in town for a job interview and found that my battery was dead. My interview was over and done with but I still needed help getting my car to start as no one was nearby to help so I just did a quick search online and found Tom and gave him a call. So, I hit a huge pothole on Westheimer near the Montrose area and I thought I could make it home. After merging with traffic on 59 I quickly realized that the tire was totally flat and close to riding on the rim so I took the next off ramp and headed for something friendly looking. Luckily I pulled into the Whataburger right across Star Pizza and proceeded to call my insurance person. After a few moments, they put my wife in touch with someone who said they were half an hour out. I told my wife I would be done changing to the spare by the time the guy came...or so I thought, so don't bother sending him. The spare was flat and I didn't want to ruin another tire so I asked my wife to call the guy again to ask him to come and inflate the spare and hopefully I would be on my way. Tom pulls up 15 minutes later(FAST!) give us a bit of air, that wasn't hot, all for $25. Would I ever call Tom again? Yes. Do I recommend him to others? YES! My coworker, who had free roadside assistance through her cell phone plan, offered to let us use the service. They dispatched Tom, an independent contractor, to come save us. He called to confirm our location and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was polite, talkative (though not overly chatty), and told us what he was doing to our beloved truck every step of the way. He had our vehicle open quickly with no damage. We were sure to take a few business cards just in case. Then a few weeks ago, I had a flat tire, and barely made it to the parking garage of my workplace. Unnerved, I first called my auto insurance company because I had noticed on my last renewal something about "roadside service". They said they'd reimburse up to $75 and referred me to a local garage that never picked up the phone. I remembered Tom, called him, and he was there within the hour. Not only there when he said he'd be, but even called enroute to inform me that he might be late because of a traffic snarl. I was pretty lucky because he was about to call it a night, however when he heard my voice mail, he didn't think it was right to leave me stranded. He called and tried to find out my tire size so that he could bring out a replacement (since apparently I got a fix-a-flat kit instead of an actual spare in my trunk - thanks Hyundai -_-). Tom is awesome!! I woke up this morning to a flat tire. Being new to the area, I did not know who to call. So I yelped automotive repair and TOM popped up! He was very Fast and Reliable. He was able to get my spare down, which ended up being flat, so he aired it up and also took my flat tire off, and very carefully wrapped it in a blanket that I had so it would not get my car dirty. I did not have any cash on me, so he even followed me to an ATM machine so that I could pay him. He is very friendly and I felt like a very trust worthy person. Before he even came, he talked with me on the phone about the problem I was having (bad starter) and even gave me advice on how to get the starter to work (hit it with a stick). I, like some of the other reviewers on here, hit a huge pothole turning into my office in the Medical Center. I drive a huge truck, and there is no way I would have been able to change the tire by myself with my own tools. 20" wheels on a 3 ton vehicle? No thank you... I placed a call to Tom and he was at my office parking lot in less than an hour. He jacked up the truck, removed the monstrosity of a flat tire and put on the even larger monstrosity of a full-sized spare. Easy-Peasy for him! Then, as I started my truck to move it back into the parking spot, I discovered the battery was running low... Well, Tom just hooked up his charging unit to the truck and it started right up!
