Tom answered quickly, communicated clearly, and showed up when he said he would. No chasing, no guessing. When you're stuck on the side of the road, that alone matters more than people realize. He handled the issue without hesitation - calm, efficient, and clearly experienced. You can tell he's done this a lot. No trial-and-error, no wasted time. Just straight to the fix. What stood out was how he treated the situation. No pressure, no upselling - just focused on getting me back on the road. He also gave me a few practical tips afterward that actually made sense and will help me avoid running into the same problem again. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. That's rare with roadside services. If you're debating who to call, remove the guesswork - Tom is the best choice. I'd use him again without hesitation. read more

Speedy friendly reliable and good value. He came to jump our car and he arrived in like 20 min. Great guy. Highly recommend!

So I was in town for a job interview and found that my battery was dead. My interview was over and done with but I still needed help getting my car to start as no one was nearby to help so I just did a quick search online and found Tom and gave him a call. He was currently finishing up a job yet he was still able to get to me within 30-45 min so I was pretty glad he was around. He comes by and gets the car running with some cables and gives me some recommendations on where to get a new battery on the cheap. Really nice guy and very helpful. If you're not a car guy like me, it's really nice to have decent people like him to help you when you're in a bind especially considering some auto mechanics are not exactly known for their honesty. read more

4:30PM on a rainy Saturday the day after Black Friday. It has been raining doe two days and we are out to try and do some shopping with my mother-in-law, visiting from out of state. We leave Nordstrom Rack to discover her car won't start ,which she had checked out by a mechanic before leaving home. After several calls to various places netted from a Google search, we came across this gentleman. Professional, kind, and timely, he arrived like an angel from on high and had us promptly back on the road with a recommendation. So impressed that I added him as a contact in my phone. He is one of those rare people that just gives you a great feeling to do business with, in addition to the great service. read more

I had a problem with my car battery and although Tom wasn't sure if he would be able to help with my problem, he showed up either way and actually fixed the battery. He was a lifesaver and it turned out he also knew my neighbor who was just coming home from grocery shopping that day. Small world! read more

Tom's Roadside Service - Roadside Assistance Near Me

So, I hit a huge pothole on Westheimer near the Montrose area and I thought I could make it home. After merging with traffic on 59 I quickly realized that the tire was totally flat and close to riding on the rim so I took the next off ramp and headed for something friendly looking. Luckily I pulled into the Whataburger right across Star Pizza and proceeded to call my insurance person. After a few moments, they put my wife in touch with someone who said they were half an hour out. I told my wife I would be done changing to the spare by the time the guy came...or so I thought, so don't bother sending him. The spare was flat and I didn't want to ruin another tire so I asked my wife to call the guy again to ask him to come and inflate the spare and hopefully I would be on my way. Tom pulls up 15 minutes later(FAST!) give us a bit of air, that wasn't hot, all for $25. Would I ever call Tom again? Yes. Do I recommend him to others? YES! I actually was getting ready to call him up because he was the only roadside assistance company that had a review on yelp...now he has two. I should have taken a stack of cards from this dude to hand out to everyone I know...he's that good and honest. You'll want to bookmark this for when you least expect it. read more

Just like his card says: "Fast. Friendly. Reliable" I first met Tom last year, when my husband came to see me at work and locked our only set of keys in the truck. My coworker, who had free roadside assistance through her cell phone plan, offered to let us use the service. They dispatched Tom, an independent contractor, to come save us. He called to confirm our location and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was polite, talkative (though not overly chatty), and told us what he was doing to our beloved truck every step of the way. He had our vehicle open quickly with no damage. We were sure to take a few business cards just in case. Then a few weeks ago, I had a flat tire, and barely made it to the parking garage of my workplace. Unnerved, I first called my auto insurance company because I had noticed on my last renewal something about "roadside service". They said they'd reimburse up to $75 and referred me to a local garage that never picked up the phone. I remembered Tom, called him, and he was there within the hour. Not only there when he said he'd be, but even called enroute to inform me that he might be late because of a traffic snarl. He had my spare tire on in no time, and advised me that my tires were looking pretty worn (which I guess happens when you put over 70,000 miles on one set of tires!) and should be replaced for our safety. The charge? Only $35! I gave away all the cards I have from Tom and put his contact info in my cell. He's truly a find! read more

I ended up blowing out my tire around 11 pm on a weeknight on Westheimer, and after calling Tom a few times and leaving a voice mail, I was able to connect with him. I was pretty lucky because he was about to call it a night, however when he heard my voice mail, he didn't think it was right to leave me stranded. He called and tried to find out my tire size so that he could bring out a replacement (since apparently I got a fix-a-flat kit instead of an actual spare in my trunk - thanks Hyundai -_-). Anyways, he came out and was very helpful, changed my flat and got me on my way. I believe he has the only service whereby you can get a replacement tire. Thanks for all of your assistance and best of luck to you. read more

Tom is awesome!! I woke up this morning to a flat tire. Being new to the area, I did not know who to call. So I yelped automotive repair and TOM popped up! He was very Fast and Reliable. He was able to get my spare down, which ended up being flat, so he aired it up and also took my flat tire off, and very carefully wrapped it in a blanket that I had so it would not get my car dirty. I did not have any cash on me, so he even followed me to an ATM machine so that I could pay him. He is very friendly and I felt like a very trust worthy person. Being a female it is important for me to feel safe. He was very polite and nice and will definitely call him if I EVER have another automotive emergency...... He gave me a stack of cards, that I have already been passing out to co-workers and friends. IF you need fast reliable help... Tom is your guy! read more

My roommate and I got a flat tire on I-10 at 12:30am. Needing special tools to release her spare (jeep) we decided to call in someone who actually knew what they were doing. Tom answered the phone immediately, knew the exact location we were at and arrived in UNDER the time he estimated. He made sure to confirm what kind of car and whether or not we had a working spare. Both questions I probably would have never thought to ask. He fixed the tire in 19 minutes flat including processing payment. Tom was very kind and knowledgeable as well someone we were comfortable with on the side of the road in the middle of the night. Thanks, Tom! read more

Quick, helpful and reasonable! I called Tim from out of town to service a vehicle my employee was in, in his area. He was super quick and very polite. I would recommend him over and over! read more

Tom was great. I had a flat tire (with no spare) early on a Friday morning. He was able to attend to me quickly and was friendly. He removed the flat tire, drove us to a tire store, waited while the new tire was prepared, drove us back to my car, and put the new tire on. I highly recommend him and would call on him again. read more

He was God sent ! So nice and professional great service great price I highly recommend!

After finding Tom on Yelp, I called him from Austin to assist my brother with a flat tire in Houston. He answered on the first call, gave me an estimated time of arrival following another job and helped my brother get the tire changed. I'm grateful for his help and would recommend his service. read more

Would recommend his services to everyone. He picked up new tires for me (got a good deal on them) and replaced them in a timely manner!

My car wouldn't start and I called Tom. He was quick, courteous and professional. Before he even came, he talked with me on the phone about the problem I was having (bad starter) and even gave me advice on how to get the starter to work (hit it with a stick). It was basically free advice because if I'd been able to locate the starter (and a stick), I could have done it and drove off before he even arrived. But since I couldn't locate the starter, I waited for him. Sure enough, he hit the starter, got my car going, and gave me advice on how to manage with a bad starter until I get it fixed. Good guy, recommended. CASH ONLY! read more

Unfortunately walked out of work to find one of my tires had gone completely flat. This is 7:30 on a Saturday night and of course no tire shops open. Plus a girl who has no idea how to change a flat and put on my spare. Searched on Yelp, and found this gentleman was well-reviewed, so I called him and "Voila!" He gave me a prompt response, was there in 20 minutes, and made this entire thing as painless as possible. Like seriously, made a horrible situation a lot easier. I say call Tom if you have an auto emergency situation that requires roadside assistance. Very happy that I did. Was able to drive right home and salvage my Saturday night read more

Awesome guy. Rescued me with two blown tires. Very fair price. Prompt response . Really nice guy!

Tom's really helped me out on a bad day. Long story short my insurance company screwed me out of coverage for my flat tire. He came out within 30 mins and filled it up quickly for cheap. He then actually followed me to tire shop to make sure I made it, which he didn't have to do. Super nice guy and I appreciate everything he did. read more

My husband and I have used Tom's Roadside Service on Several occasions. He is kind, professional, and has great prices. He even offered my husband a ride back to his vehicle after he changed the tire and followed my husband to the discount tire place. He is the only roadside service we will use. Way better then when I had triple A. Thanks for the great customer service. read more

He was fast, professional, and friendly when I was in high stress mode and trying to get to work.

Excellent customer service. I would definitely refer him to anyone that needed quality roadside assistance.

Tom came out to help replace my two flat tires. He was very friendly and professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend him for any roadside assistance you may need. read more

My friend was stranded on the highway after 10pm and did not have a fitting spare tire. Tom was there within an hour to replace the tire with another full size and get both of us on their way. Called Tom from SE Denver to help my son, who had blown a tire on the side of I-25 and Interquest Parkway. Tom showed up in less than 20 minutes, changed the tire and even advised my son the safest way to get home on the spare tire. We will keep Tom's Roadside Service's phone number in the car all the time now! He even called me for payment after the tire was changed since my "broke" college student had only a few dollars on him. AMAZING!!! read more

Tom was fast and very friendly. He gave me a great price, literally less than half of everyone else. Thanks Tom, great job.

I've used Tom's in the past and have been saved by the roadside service he provides. I say kudos to him and keep up the awesome service, we all would probably need it sometime. He's friendly, knowledgeable and his pricing is fair considering where and when he has to do this work. I was so impressed with it that I took his biz cards and passed them out to friends. I, like some of the other reviewers on here, hit a huge pothole turning into my office in the Medical Center. I drive a huge truck, and there is no way I would have been able to change the tire by myself with my own tools. 20" wheels on a 3 ton vehicle? No thank you... I placed a call to Tom and he was at my office parking lot in less than an hour. He jacked up the truck, removed the monstrosity of a flat tire and put on the even larger monstrosity of a full-sized spare. Easy-Peasy for him! Then, as I started my truck to move it back into the parking spot, I discovered the battery was running low... Well, Tom just hooked up his charging unit to the truck and it started right up! Let me tell you. This guy is nice, well informed, and did exactly what he needed to do to get me back on the road. If you've got a flat or need help, I'd highly and entirely recommend Tom. read more

The spare tire on my jeep was locked in and I couldn't get it off for the life of me! I had a flat on my jeep outside my apartment that I needed to have fixed. Super nice, super professional, and super fast - I would recommend Tom's Roadside Service to anyone. I should've just called them in the first place! read more

Tom to the rescue! What a great guy. It was a rainy Friday night and this guy saved the day by changing my tire for me. He arrived right on time as he said he would, was able to get the job done in less than 15 minutes, and was just a good person. No stress, no hassles-- just a good honest guy. He made sure to tell me what speed my tire was rated for and handled everything perfectly. After the repair was complete, he followed me to an ATM of my choice since he only takes cash. His fee was very reasonable. I've put his card in my wallet and his number in my phone in case I ever fall victim to one of Houston's notorious potholes again! Thanks, Tom! read more

I live in Dallas and have a big truck. I had a flat tire and wasn't in the mood to change it myself. I do not have a roadside assistance plan so I just googled "houston roadside assistance". Tom's came up and he answered the phone promptly. He was here in less than 15 minutes and took care of the situation. He is fast, reliable, courteous and professional. Wow, ditto to all other reviews. Was prompt, checked everything out and drove with me to make sure I was good. He jumped the vehicle, it read like it was fine, but to double check he turned everything on in the vehicle and that showed the alternator was actually the problem and not the battery. Very good service read more

My husband and I were in the process of moving when towing my son's 54 Willis Jeep had a flat tire on the trailer. I called my insurance company and they said they were sending out Tom's Roadside Service and he would be there in an hour. Well a few minutes later the phone was ringing and it was Tom saying he would be there in 20 minutes. He was there in a jiffy and when he saw it was something he could not help us with he did a temporary fix and then had us follow him to a tire place that was open (he Googled it and verified) and made sure we were up and running before leaving. We were exhausted due to 4 days of only 6 hours sleep and he made everything turn out awesome. Would I recommend him YES, Yes and Yes. read more
