I was disappointed to find them closed so I rang their doorbell to see if anyone would answer. So after a couple of minutes this sweet lady opens the door and I asked if I can buy some firewood. She happily showed me the firewood for sale. I bought a $10 stack of oak wood in a wheel barrel. I got acquainted with Mr. Burton and he said, "Give that son a bigger stack." LoL, I didn't need to be greedy so I refused more. I did ask them if I can have some hickory chips to test the flavor on my next BBQ. Mrs. Burton was very generous in offering me a nice big log for hickory smoking. They offer mesquite, hickory, pecan wood for smoking your BBQ. She explained to me how to use the woods for barbecuing. There are at least 2 other places selling firewood at the corner of Richmond and Jeanetta. This is a house with stacks of firewood on display in WHEEL BARRELS. They range from $5-20 stacks and they are well worth it. I was comparing it to Kroger $10 stack. Kroger's was only half the size of what a $10 stack can be bought from here. They also offer trash hauling service, landscaping, tractor work, and driveway demolishing.
