The two dim-starred reviews are no longer relevant, for as the Original Owner has returned after watching the fruits of the harvest diminish substantially following the sale of the business to the subjects of the paltry-starred reviews several years back. Yes. As an example, an object lesson for all of us at least those that have not read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and as a consequence don't by heart and reflexively understand Quality and Caring, the Original Owner has re-acquired the business and returned it to what it once was. Which is very different in a good way from what is described in the two reviews before this one. So take heart and follow this red asterisk as northern guiding garden and nursery star back to Asbury. For it will have what you need if what you seek is plant variety, Other Supplies, helpful staff and ownership, reasonable prices. Big Box stores are fine if anonymity plainness and speed are what trips your trigger. But if you'd like some TLC come here instead. I think you'll find it worth the trip.

Clark's Sharper Image is a spin off from Lawnworks Landscape (http://www.lawnworksinc.us/) which is…read moretheir yard & lawn service arm. Dan is terrific, he came promptly at the appointed time to give me an estimate for a fall-clean up (I mow the yard myself but am terrible at it). It took a little bit of time to actually schedule the service but in retrospect that was fine because the trees still needed to give up all their leaves. I have a large, unruly yard, probably about 2 acres in all, with lots of nooks and crannies and fenced in areas. Not one of those vast lawns where you can blow through with a riding mower. Also, it is kind of hilly and has weird drainage issues which result in some muddy spots in the lawn. Dan rolled in with a big crew - fix or six guys in all - and did the whole shebang. Leaves, pine needles: gone; lawn mowed and edged to perfection; and generally looking in good shape for the coming winter. They had a surprisingly light touch given that it had just rained and I usually end up with big streaks of mud everywhere when I try to do the mowing myself after a rain. Not so w/ Clark's Sharper Image, everything was tidy and terrific. They even hauled all the pine & leaves out to the woods around the property. The total bill was $375, which I consider very reasonable for a large, gnarly job that took the better part of the day. I would highly recommend them if you are like me and can handle the week-to-week lawn care but need occasional help to do the heavy lifting for the yard. After inquiring with some of the other venders I decided to order the steps from Butts Concrete Products P.O. Bo 330 Masonville NY 13804 Phone 607 265 2887 . A very wise choice on my part From the initial phone call to the office; placing my order (which was delivered a head of schedule ) ; the workers did a terrific job to carefully remove all 3 existing steps; then set and leveled the new steps. They did an excellent job cleaning up the worksite. Every step of the way was done with attention to detail And very important to me, Their price was VERY REASONABLE.

ADB responded within two days with a well-defined replacement project description and cost with options for pressure treated wood or Trex synthetic material. (The other contractors either did not bid or in one case, provided a cost number with absolutely no description of the work to be done.) We responded to ADB that we were interested in taking the next step and co-owner Brendon Lawrence subsequently came to examine the project and brought material and color samples. We selected Trex, chose color and affirmed our desire to proceed. Unfortunately, the pandemic shutdowns were initiated and work could not progress until spring 2021. Brendon and co-owner/project supervisor Brendan (last name??) came again to finalize the project and offered a couple of great suggestions on some details. ADB obtained the building permit and began work that same day with a crew of five. Teardown of the three existing decks took less than a day. Although the weather was initially uncooperative, they worked through cold and snow--but not rain. Starting at 7am each day, the experienced crew worked smoothly and cooperatively to accomplish their tasks. Each of the eight nights, they picked up and stored all materials, scrap and tools, leaving the grounds as neat as possible while the project was underway. They did an amazing job, displaying terrific attention to detail and workmanship. When the job was completed after nine days, we could not have been more pleased with the results. American Deck Builders gets five stars from us.
