THANK YOU ZACH =D He was amazing in all the work he did for me with an employment issue that arose late 2016. He worked extremely quickly and efficiently, therefore I would certainly look no where else if I ever have another employment issue! I hired him at some point in 2016 and my matter was resolved within 3 and a half months... unbelievably GREAT attorney and what made me so comfortable is that he is the only person I had to speak to throughout it all, he always responded to my calls, my questions and concerns quickly and was always updating me on the status of my case, he is really passionate and dedicated to his work. Look no further.

You would think i was sueing them and not seeking their services. After about 40 minutes of one of the most uncomfortable conversations I've ever had with an attorney in which I had to warm this man I was on the verge walking out, I was given some paper work and never again contacted. I did everything I had to on my end. The MRI, the doctors appointments and physical therapy. I was basically just waiting for someone to contact me byt when I realized it's been just about a year, little over, I decided to call myself just to see where we are with the case and even though in hindsight I should have expected this, i still was in complete disbelief that I was greeted and treated the same exact way from my first visit to the office. The woman basically told me she didn't care if I wanted to maintain my services with the firm and I can walk. I do wonder if Mr Bellone is aware at all of his colleagues antics but who ever needs a workers comp lawyer dont ever in your right mind ever abso under no circumstances go there.

A few years ago, I texted him cold, and out of the blue, at the recommendation of a close friend, when a venue was being shady about paying my talent and me, their promoter. Mr. Jacobson gave very clear, immediate, no nonsense (but also not rude or mean) advice, which I followed to the letter. I was accused of being nasty (I wasn't) but at the end of the day my talent was paid, I got my cut, and no one who is clear about how things work - thought badly of my reaching out to him and then making absolutely sure that the talent in question was not exploited. It was very kind of Mr. Jacobson, who is extremely busy and deals with giant rock stars and their contracts with major labels, etc. to take five minutes even of his very valuable time (time being money in this industry), to guide me and my talent. It was a random text out of noplace, he was in the middle of a contract negotiation, and he didn't even have to acknowledge my text or help me out at all, especially not for the price involved, yet he did. He lived up to his rep FOR SURE. If you are an up and coming artist who needs someone to work with you and your management in any labor issue, any contract negotiations, any royalty matter, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this man. He'd be worth every penny you spend and while he is no-nonsense he is also a "class act". Can't thank him enough for remembering to look out for the little guys.

I am extremely disappointed with the consultation I received from attorney Stephen Bilkis through…read moremy prepaid legal service plan. My plan specifically includes attorney consultations, legal advice, review of up to 10 pages of documents, contracts and letters, attorney-written demand letters on a member's behalf, and other legal services. The plan also requires participating attorneys to respond within 8 hours or by the next business day. Despite that requirement, I had to wait approximately five business days just to obtain an appointment. When the appointment finally occurred, the consultation lasted less than five minutes. Before I could fully explain my situation, Mr. Bilkis repeatedly interrupted me and stated that my only option was to file a lawsuit and that hiring him would cost between $7,000 and $10,000. I explained that I was not seeking representation at that time. I was seeking legal guidance through benefits I already pay for. However, I was told that he could not provide meaningful advice without reviewing documents and that doing so would require an additional payment of approximately $2,500, despite document review being one of the benefits included in my legal plan. Every attempt to ask general questions regarding my options, possible outcomes, or potential legal scenarios was met with interruptions. At one point, Mr. Bilkis stated, "I know what you're trying to do," as though I was attempting to obtain something improperly, when I was simply trying to use the services included in my membership. I was not asking for free legal work. I was attempting to use services that I already pay for. Instead of receiving legal guidance, I felt pressured toward paid representation and was unable to obtain any meaningful advice. The conversation ended before I was even allowed to fully explain my situation. This experience was dismissive, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the purpose of a prepaid legal service referral. Fortunately, my legal plan has since referred me to another attorney who is willing to provide the services and guidance that members are entitled to receive.
