Tommy Rocks - Death grips vinyls: government plates, no love deep web, the powers that b, year of the snitch, and the money store. - Musical Instruments & Teachers Near Me - Jerome, Arizona

This is THE BEST record store in Jerome. Tommy Rocks is a gem--don't miss it! We stumbled across this little store while looking for iced coffee on a hot day in July. The coffee shop was closed, but Tommy Rocks was open, and we thought we'd browse a bit while we cooled down. Tommy Rocks has an excellent selection of vinyl; everything is nicely organized and reasonably priced. Not only did we find a few old records we've been looking for, but we also had a great time chatting with the owner. I know that every time we visit Jerome, we will make a point to peruse the vinyl at Tommy Rocks. :) read more

Cool shop with a great selection of rock shirts, records, and an assortment of other knock knacks. The shop is small, but clean organized and service was friendly and done with smile. Definitely worth the stop if you're into vinyl. read more

This is only music shop in the area these days. Tommy is super friendly and personable and will go out of his way to help you get what you need. He has a really fun selection of memorabilia and apparel in the shop also. There is a pretty good selection of music equipment and instruments (especially ukeleles) considering how small the shop is and the prices are moderate. Check this shop out when in Jerome! read more

This a wonderful place run by a very nice, genuine man. We stopped in to buy a ukelele for our grandson and stayed for a while visiting and getting helpful hints for teaching little children ukelele. Highly recommend! read more

This store is awesome! A little off the beaten path, as you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to it. The shop is located in an area with about 4 other small artsy shops. I was drawn into this shop by all of the shiny and colorful things, and the fact that there seemed to be a lot of vinyls on sale right outside, and wasn't disappointed when I walked in. The store itself is small, and packed to the gills with awesome music memorabilia, trinkets, and even some instruments. It was nice in the sense that it was still easy to navigate around, even though there was so much stuff in the small space. There really is something for everyone here, and every price range it seems. Old school records, stickers of rock bands of today, tie dyed ukuleles, posters, autographed concert tickets from shows that may outdate a lot of us but we still wish we'd attended. Tommy was there behind the counter, and I got the awesome pleasure of talking to him. This is a guy that really knows his stuff, and my only qualm with my time here is that I didn't have more time to talk to him. I was here with my boyfriends family, his dad also a huge music buff, and he also spent a bit of time chatting with Tommy and had nothing but good things to say. If you have a music buff in your life, find yourself in Jerome, and need a gift this is definitely the place to go. read more

Tommy Rocks - Did I mention TIE DYE UKELELES?!?! - Musical Instruments & Teachers Near Me - Jerome, Arizona

So it's a wonderful Sunday afternoon before our beloved independence day, and my wife and I decided to head up north to Jerome, never been and wanted to see what the hype was about. Stopped in to this little slice of heaven where I met Mr Muthafuckin Tommy rocks, and let me tell you. This was a wonderful experience. I've been wanting to pick up a ukelele for about 3 years now and this man made it as easy as my prom date senior year. Tommy made me feel like I was gonna be a pro in no time flat, didn't rush me, and trust me I've had all sorts of questions because I am no musically inclined individual. Tommy was celebrating his 4th year being open, and took better care of me than the massage therapists at madam kame's. I encourage anyone who visits Jerome AZ to seek out this place. Pick up some fun memorabilia, you dont even have to play an instrument to find something you would enjoy. I also picked myself up a very special 1981 playboy for what I feel to be pennies on the dollar compared to the value. Much love Tommy, thank you and god bless 'merica read more

Hippie paradise. Please bury me there when I die, between the Beatles albums/memorabilia and the groovy classic car displays (kind of a mini-museum). Owner Tommy Rocks is the real deal. He knows what you mean and what you want. From vinyl to tee shirts to signs to instruments to...well there's just too much to list. Tons of autographed stuff from your favorite 60s & 70s rock stars. Store is on the down-low...down flight of steps. For the uninitiated, Jerome buildings are on hillsides. Be sure to look high and low for best kept secrets. read more

Tommy Rocks - That magical stairwell.. - Musical Instruments & Teachers Near Me - Jerome, Arizona

Tommy Rocks is a store for and about the love of music. Tommy himself is a joyfully expert musician (and high school teacher in a former life) who has assembled a prime array of instruments, memorabilia, and affordable music culture treasures into a single corner. Whether Tommy's minding the store or it's his compadre, Ron, you'd do well to ask for a ukulele demonstration -- you won't be sorry. "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" Oh yeah. Come see. read more

This is a swinging little shop that's a "must stop" for any musician or music lover passing through Jerome. Tommy is a class act; experienced, knowledgable, and generous with his time - and a damn fine musician in his own right. The shop has a nice selection of stringed instruments (check out the wall of ukes!), along with some fine vintage vinyl and CDs from local and national acts. There's also a psychedelic assortment of music memorabilia and tchotchkes. All I needed was a guitar cable when I visited last but I'll definitely be back again. You never know who you might meet or who might be jamming at Tommy Rocks. read more

Tommy Rocks is a fantastic addition to sweet home Jerome! It's a great place to find gifts and supplies, and musicians and friends (and former students!) come from far and wide to visit Tommy and check out his cool stuff. Tommy's also responsible for kicking off the Jerome Ukulele Orchestra! His uke sales were off the charts from the get-go, so he had the bright idea of bringing the community together to jam on ukuleles every week ... and voila! JUO was born. There's probably a great story behind every piece of memorabilia he sells at T Rocks (and some he probably can't even tell ; ). Next time you're in Jerome, check it out! It's worth the trek downstairs. read more

What a great store! So many cool and fun things to see and check out, (and play :) ! And the people who work there are the best ever - friendly, funny, knowledgeable, happy to share and entertain. Amazing customer service!!! I was shopping for a specific instrument (and Christmas gift) online and much to my dismay the company sold out and had stopped production until after the holiday. There are no dealers for this instrument in my area including my entire state. I hopped on the phone and started calling out of state dealers posted on the company's website. It was the Saturday before Christmas when I telephoned Tommy Rocks. The phone rang and rang before going to voicemail. Disappointed and sure I'd called on a non-business day I chose not to leave a message and started thinking of other gifts to replace the one I could not give. Much to my surprise awhile later I received a call from Tommy Anderson (the store owner). Thankfully he had caller ID and didn't want to miss a potential customer. I purchased the instrumental gift with the hopes of speedy delivery. It has now come to my attention that Tommy Rocks is closed on Mondays but Tommy Anderson made the trip to the Post Office on his day off to ensure the delivery of my husband's gift. If that's not customer service then I don't know what is!!! Thank you Tommy Anderson! read more
